                A:  I don"t understand the power board term. If you are asking about using it instead of the power grid, the answer is yes, but I don't recommend it due to the fuel cost. If you can get the question answered on the term power board I may be of more help. When hooking up to a power grid a transfer switch must also be installed.

                              Great generator
                              Purchased 6 months ago with my new house. Looked at many other brand but picked Kohler due to prior experience with Kohler, features and reputation. Very quiet, the only way I know it's running is when I get OnCue notifications. Yes, it comes on line in less than 10 seconds. Storm knocked out power two nights ago for over 2 hours. Generator came right on, entire house was functioning, AC units, lights, computers, etc.

                                Burned to the ground
                                I bought a 38k Kohler generator used it twice and it burned to the ground not running and the power was out. The dealer even agreed with me it was the generators fault.... and kohler will not call him back or deal with the situation. So the company will be sued... p.s. they said i should do an insurance claim..... and it was their fault. Really tired of companies not backing up their products
