Nice cabinet for the price, beware of surface mount!
The problem is with the surface mounting hardware, the side flanges on the cabinet will not allow the cabinet to sit with the bracket in the groove, even with a perfectly flat wall. It’s easy enough to take the doors off while you install which makes the cabinet a lot easier to handle and then drill through the frame above (or below) the rear mirror. I sat the cabinet on the bracket since it was already installed, but screwed the cabinet directly to the wall through the frame. I am glad I read the review from the purchaser whose cabinet fell from the wall. I like how it looks now and am pretty certain it will not fall.
The glass shelves are awesome and so are the interior mirrors. With so many mirrors, if only I was better looking.

Good units, but incomplete instruction
These medicine cabinets look beautiful, work well, and are packaged well. I gave these a 5 star rating, but I would like to comment on a few VERY important omissions from the instructions.
Firstly, there is nothing about the hinge adjustments in the instructions, other than "you may have to adjust the doors". There's a rivet that keeps the doors from falling off, and the units are shipped with the height adjustment set screw intentionally loose, which will throw you off when first installing this.
Secondly, these units are supported by an aluminum bar which is screwed into the wall. The cabinet rests on a flange which fits into a narrow slot on the support bar. The bar has enough flex that if the WALL is anything but perfectly flat, the cabinet doesn't mate with the bar. Since most walls of houses aren't perfectly straight, this will be a recurring problem. I've installed 6 of these in my house, and until I realized I needed measure the wall for flatness, and to shim the bar to insure its flat and straight condition, installation was a struggle. The meager instructions should address this, and it's important to stress it doesn't take too much deviation from perfectly flat to introduce this problem.

Just got done installing this. This product looks absolutely beautiful in my bathroom remodel. Fairly easy to install as an external cabinet. Definitely a 2 person job. Took me and my son about 3 hours to complete. Had to do some minor door adjustments. There are instructions on how to adjust them included with installation instructions. This product is quality made by Kohler and definitely worth the money spent on a special buy.

We have issues with the installation. When we were setting up for hang in,the back mirror got loose and sliced down and as a result it cracked as you see in the picture.It’s brand new and it is upsetting the crack after following the manual directions

One is great, two are better!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this mirrored medicine cabinet. It's design is clean and simple, and looks elegant. The cabinet is large enough to fit all my toiletries, make-up, toothpaste, body lotion, bandaids, etc. and the mirrored interior, allows me to see the sides and back of my hair without needing to use a hand mirror. This is actually the second of these cabinets that I've bought. I remodeled my bathroom and installed a longer vanity, so I purchased a second cabinet in order to extend the mirrors over the entire vanity. I use that cabinet to store my surplus supply of lotion, nail polish remover, make up, hair color, shampoo, etc.
