Q:Is the slip connection for this spout flush with the back of the spout or is it set in an inch for two like most longer tub spouts?

      Q:Hi. I'm Mike The 1/2 inch copper tubing coming out from the tiled wall is 2 1/2 inches , now if I put a 1/2 inch copper sweat coupling and extend the nipple for the proper length will I be able to use this fixture on my tub. Thank you.

          I like the finish and style a lot. I like how the water is delivered from the long neck out into the tub. Instructions are vague and poorly written. There’s no way that a 1/2” nipple would slip fit as claimed. You have to remove the innards and o ring so it can be threaded. It’s a very small tolerance that is used. Says pipe has to be between 4 1/2” - 4 3/4” and mine was 4 3/4” yet remained 1/16” from the wall which isn’t a problem really using putty. It will leak if the pipe is shorter than 4 1/2” from wal.
