Very easy install, good quality
After looking around for a solution to the hard water I found this Kohler product. Looks great, fit and finish are very good. I installed 2 of these, 1 on the handheld and 1 on the rainwater head, it took about 20 minutes total. When I turned on the handheld, I could hear a high pitch whine coming from the unit. I took it off, looked in the shower and there is a backflow preventer in the shower I removed it and put it back together, no whining now. It does not appear to affect the flow of water

Seems to be good
Only criticisms are that it’s not NSF/ANSI Standard 177 certified, and it leaks where the filter and housing meet.

Good for the eczema prone/hard water
Easy to follow instructions. Plumbers tape not included. The filter is supposed to fit most shower heads, unfortunately my shower head needed 1/2 inch cut off the female end for it to be compatible. Slow drip from that altered connection- might be operator install error or might be the product I can’t say for certain, i re-taped it twice. I’m still very satisfied. I live where there is hard water my skin & hair suffer, I could tell after one wash a difference.

OK. Let me start by saying that this is fancy. Having a water filtration system for the shower head? Yeah, I have not thought about that and definitely would like to see what kind of change it can bring to my shower experience! The product itself is really well made of high quality. My shower head is from Kohler too but I feel that the Chrome and the material used for the filter is better than the shower head. Even the internal metal part looks well made. It took me about 5 minutes to install it on my existing shower head. When turned on the shower, I did not feel any reduction in water flow, which is a huge plus (I originally had the concern that it may cut the water flow). I am exactly sure when I need to replace the filter (maybe 6 months?) but it should be easy to lookup in Kohler’s website.

This product seems to work pretty decent, and it does have a nice look to it. It will add a little over three inches onto your shower head length, and it will reduce your shower pressure and probably save some water too. It is really easy to install as long as the previous parts aren’t fused together, all your really doing is disconnecting your shower head and installing this filter between it and the shower head neck. It does say to replace the filter about every 1/2 year.

We live in a town and are on city water but have had a problem with red staining on the shower curtain, dry itchy skin and my hair dye bleaching out. When I saw this product, I wanted to review. First, Kohler is top notch and produces quality products. The Kohler Aquifer Shower Filtration System is designed to use with any showerhead. You simply attach to your shower arm, I did use a wrench to fully tighten. It took less than 15 minutes, you can install to the left or right side. There is a monthly calendar to help you remember to change the filter, recommended 8000 gallons or every 6 months. It has not effected the water pressure and the water seems softer.

Installation of this shower water filtration system was super easy. Luckily our existing hardware was chrome, so it looks pretty good as a connection piece. The one negative comment i'm finding is that our water pressure was slightly reduced, i'd say by about 10%. Our water pressure was already pretty good, so this didn't cause us any issue but it might be concerning to those dealing with low water pressure. The other notable thing to mention is that this will increase how low your shower head is, so if you are really tall, this could be something to consider. Overall though the water coming out does seem more filtered, coming out of the shower there is a bit more silkiness to our hair and we've enjoyed it so far.

The KOHLER Aquifer Shower Water Filtration System in Polished Chrome is easy to set up.
It took me less than 5 minutes to add it to my current showerhead. The filter uses the nanofiltration system to help protected against the harmful effects of chlorine exposure. Even though I have a water filtration system in my house, this is a great way to add additional super clean water to your shower. I highly recommend this product.

Very nice piece of equipment very easy to install you have to change the filter once a year they put months on the back of it where you can circle where you start or when you're going to replace to keep track It works fine The pressures pretty much the same as if it wasn't even on It looks good you can reverse the side so you can make it aesthetically pleasing the pinning on what side you want the canister to be on.

KOHLER Aquifer Shower Water Filtration System in Polished Chrome
Wow ever taken a shower and all you could smell was chlorine in the water? Well this little filter will solve that issue and my wife says it make a difference in how her hair feels after washing in the shower. The quality of this filter is great it exudes Kohler’s quality and the filter is easy to change. I was able to install it in about 15 minutes. I would definitely recommend this little filter on all your bathroom showers.
