My favorite new kitchen addition
Every one who cooks understands why I love my touchless faucet! It is my favorite time in my newly remodeled kitchen. Originally ordered the gold, but upon seeing it in person, realized Im not that bold. Easy return. Ended up with the vibrant polished nickel and it looks great with my white farmer's sink. Only problems, I need a touchless for the bathroom too!

Kohler kitchen faucet does not disappoint
I purchased this faucet in Aug 2020 and have been happy ever since. The style is beautiful, spots do not show up on the stainless steel, the touchless sensor is well positioned and it responds immediately with no hesitation. The light at the base of the faucet is convenient to remind you when the touchless sensor is on. I like that the water will cutoff automatically after 4 minutes. My favorite feature though is being able to have a hard spray for cleaning the sink and a super soft spray to rinse delicate things like berries. I highly recommend this faucet.

Gorgeous and functional fixture that makes you smile every time you use it. This is the second faucet I've gotten from the Kohler Artifacts line and both have impressed me. The upgrade on this one is the touchless feature, which is great when you're doing dishes and don't want to keep turning the handle on and off and getting water on everything. It also effectively lets you set the temperature and flow rate once and not have to mess with it again. Install is a breeze, as usual with Kohler products. The instructions are clear and the steps are straightforward. Once it's in place it's just such a joy to use. The fit and the finish are perfect. If I had one minor quibble with the faucet, it would be nice to be able to set how long it runs for on touchless mode. It has a safety or water conserving feature where it shuts off after a set amount of time but you can't adjust how much time that is. Not a huge deal but at this price point that simple feature would be welcome.

Wow! I love the Kohler touchless faucet. The pull down for a kitchen faucet is a must, it works great. The color matches everything perfectly. It is a very solid faucet. Installation wasn’t too difficult, my husband actually had to read the directions. But had no issues with it. Love the fact that it is touchless..had no problems with it not coming on needed. Would recommend.

Kitchen faucet is looking like a antique design. I love the outfit as preferable one. The color and architectural design is attractive. Kohler is always is quality. I setup the hole thing in demo for desire looks. Every one love the faucet. I am waiting for electric wiring finished by electrician. Rest of the plumbing work will be done by me. I recommended this product as the touchless function operated by AC connection.

This is a nice touchless faucet which gives you the ability to turn it on or off by waving your hand or pot under it. I haven't had this long so I can't speak to its longevity but it looks good and seems well made-- like most Kohler products. The pull down feature retracts well and the faucet works well. Installation requires an electrical outlet nearby if you plan on using the electronic feature. The faucet is very tall. It is about 18 inches tall. If you look at my photos, you will see that the faucet almost touches the bottom of our cabinet. So, if you have any cabinets over your sink, be sure you have enough space for the faucet before you buy it. Installation Tips While it is not terribly difficult to install (except that you will be working in a cramped and cluttered area under your sink), the first tip is to find an installation video for this unit or a similar one. Note that the unit has 2 delicate wires plus one from the solenoid that need to be connected to the circuit board. Plugging them in while you are twisted up under the sink can be challenging and you can damage them if you are not very careful. Maybe Kohler can place all 3 of these connectors into one solid connector with one substantial wire in future models. Then, you would only need to connect that one plate plus the power cord. Otherwise, customers risk damaging those delicate wire connectors and turning an expensive electronic faucet into a manual one.

I've always wanted a motion sense kitchen faucet and the Kohler Artifacts pull-down faucet offers it all: great looks, motion sense and pull down sprayer. I'm remodeling our kitchen and can't wait to install this "state of the art" kitchen faucet in our new kitchen sink! We made sure a power outlet was installed below the new sink for the disposal and small adapter to power the motion sensor electronics integrated within the fixture. The Kohler faucet is well made and has a beautiful chrome finish. Item comes with sensing electronics, valve, installation instructions and everything needed for normal installation.

The faucet is taller than most others I've seen. That could be good for filling tall pots but it's too high from the sink for my preference. The finish is great. Seems to resist water stains and fingerprints. Very country kitchen in style. It's "nice" but not spectacular. I think I expected more because of the brand name. Average comes to mind, functional but not impressive.

This is one of the sweetest faucets I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. But you had better be good at installation. You had better be good at plumbing, electrical, routing wires and water lines, and all the while laying on your back bent under the sink. One of my toughest hookups ever, but so well worth the effort. My back hurts a little but I'll get over that. The installation was leak free and the faucet works like a dream. But keep in mind this unit does not include a 3 hole deck escutcheon plate in case you have a 3 hole sink. And it does not include a soap dispenser for that fourth hole many kitchen sinks have. I bought a close match for a soap dispenser at the store and had to order a 3 hole escutcheon plate. The most important thing you'll need for the installation is a plug socket under your sink, like in my pictures, to plug the faucet power supply into. Otherwise this fauct just won't work. There is a power failure bypass in case your power goes off in a storm, but without a plug socket under your sink, you can not enjoy the touchless features. With this unit, there is both the hot and cold water lines, the water outlet line to the control box, the water outlet line to the faucet, plus 4 electrical lines. Once I got all that routed, I used some extra tie wraps to neaten everything up out of the way. You'll have to mount the control box within 8 inches of the center line of the faucet because the water outlet line it too short in my opinion. And the instructions say so. The installation manual is easy to understand and straight forward, and for a generic model, and lacks a parts breakdown picture, which for a faucet of this caliber, is cheap. Also cheap, is the lack of a rubber washer between the underside of the sink and the big steel mounting washer. Operation: This faucet has 3 (Three) of the nicest spray patterns I've ever used on a kitchen faucet. A aerated full stream, a misty rain shower type spray, a an angular fan spray that is used by a momentary button press. Great for rinsing out the sink. The touchless sensor is high tech and sensitive. It is in the neck of the faucet, so if you wave your hands under the sprayhead, the water will not come on like in the bathroom sink. You have to move you hand under the neck of the faucet. I like it this way because when you are washing dishes, there would be too many false turn on's. This is going to be a real water saver, and super clean and hygienic. Plus there isn't all that water slopped around the sink and on the faucet handle when you do the dishes, and do some cooking and cleaning of vegetables. You just turn on the faucet normally to hot or cold. The LED comes on, the water flows, wave your hand, the water stops, and the LED stays on. Wave your hand again, the water flows. When your done at the sink, turn the handle off and the LED goes out. So sweet !! Kohler hit a home run with this one, I just worry about the electronic control box under the sink, and if it fails, will they stand behind it. The warranty is for 5 years, so I bet Kohler would do the right thing if there was a problem.

I suggest you do a few dimensional checks before you buy this unit. I thought the threaded shank that goes through the sink would be an industry standard, but it is not. This unit measures 1.34” diameter. My current one is 1.18”, and the hole it goes through is only 1.25”. To install this, I need to get a 1.375” diamond hole saw. If you never drilled a hole with these kinds of bits, you need to drill a 1.375 hole in a board, and then center the board exactly where you want your hole in the granite; anchor this down securely, and use the board to hold the bit in the proper position. Otherwise the bit will wander. The concept for this faucet is to adjust the temperature about where you will use it most, and leave the handle in this position. Then you turn the faucet on or off by waving your hand under the bent tube of the faucet. This triggers the electrical solenoid. You have the option to by-pass the solenoid (to the open position), and then control the faucet strictly with the control handle. The control handle is 3.5” from the center of the faucet. Rotation is from vertical to 90 degrees. If mounted with the handle on the right, the handle will swing slightly into the sink area. If on the left, the handle will go into the wall. In our case, there isn’t room for this. You need to install the solenoid box which also contains a small electrical circuit board, with the two plumbing lines coming out of the bottom. This box measures 6” wide, 4” tall, and 2” deep. My case will be a challenge to get everything installed. In addition to the normal plumbing, I earlier installed a hot water recirculation valve, and its extra plumbing. Keep in mind you want the area directly under this to be clear enough for the shower hose to slide up and down without catching on anything.
