A:  Hello Mikey, my name is Kassi with Kohler Co. I'd be glad to answer your question. The K-4619 has been discontinued. The tanks are specific to the bowls that they pair with. I would recommend to get a new tank as well as a new bowl. Thank you for choosing Kohler.

This 1.2 gallon is horrible compared to the older 1.6. They come out with these water saving regulations, well now in order to get something flushed I need to flush it twice or hold down the level. So how is that water saving??

Response from Kohler Product ExpertOct 27, 2020
Hi HomeDepotCustomer, my name is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear you need to hold the handle to flush. Holding the handle down will evacuate all of the tank water during a flush. Doing so uses more water than the regulated 1.28 gallons per flush. The flush on a canister will be much faster than that of a flapper; it may seem as though less water is being used, however, the quick raise and drop of the canister is allowing the proper amount of water each flush. To ensure the toilet is performing optimally when you flush the toilet normally (without holding the handle), please check the canister chain. The chain should not have any slack. It should be taught. Any slack can be removed from the chain to improve the flushing performance. Please email us at KohlerCustServ@kohler.com if you have any questions or need further assistance. We're here to help. -Sarah S. Kohler Customer Service

Response from Kohler Product ExpertOct 26, 2020
Hi Jonny, this is Sarah with Kohler Co. I'm sorry to hear your Devonshire toilet is not flushing everything down in one flush. I'd like to share a few tips to ensure your toilet is flushing with optimal power. The chain connecting to the trip lever should be taut. If there is any slack, it should be tightened to remove the slack. The water level can also be checked. The water level in the tank should be at the water line which is marked on the inside back wall of the tank or on the flush valve. The refill tube can be checked as well. It should be connected at both ends connecting the fill valve to the center of the canister valve. If either end is disconnected, it should be pushed back into place. Additional details regarding the tube location can be found here: https://bit.ly/2UkB8a9. If you are still having problems or have any questions, please contact our Customer Service team at KohlerCustServ@kohler.com. We are glad to help! Sincerely, Sarah S. Kohler Customer Service

It works for our older Devonshire 1.6 toilet so far. Hopefully it stays that way.
