Q:I am buying Kohler 24" 16gauge undermount stainless single sink. I would like to use strainer and have garbage disposal installed underneath. Could kindly point to what items to buy other than disposal itself. I am handy but havn't done this config.

Paint is chipping off
We bought the matte black strainer and loved the color with our white Kohler sink. After 8 weeks the paint has started chipping off around the edges. What makes it worse is that we paid a significant sum of money for a professional to install it. We certainly do not want to buy a new one and have to pay another installation fee. Very disappointed and expected more from a Kohler product.

Love Kohler brand but this dissapoints
Purchased the Kohler brand not only because of their commitment to quality but also design and function of their products. I purchased this in the matt black to go with my sink. This has been installed just over a year ago. I felt Kohler brand would have lasted longer.

Oil-Rubbed Bronze chips
It felt like good quality and we are not rough on our sink, but it's already chipping. It was installed only 6 months ago. Warranty should cover a replacement so hopefully that isn't too hard to get a different color...

Poor quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very disappointed with this purchase. Shorty after installed the 'black' paint starting chipping away, if I wanted silver, I would have bought silver. What a hassle it will be to change this one out. For the name and the money - I'm really disappointed. It looks terrible.

Black strainer Chips in 2 weeks
The black finish is powder coated and unlike the other finishes available. The black chips within almost two weeks, and unfortunately despite replacement, only has a one year warranty. Chips over and over again.
