what size valve do you use with this product? 1/2"?

Asked by Elaine September 24, 2020Hi Elaine, this is Sarah with Kohler Customer Service. I'm glad to answer your question. The Rite Temp shower trim is compatible with a single valve which turns the water on and adjust temperature. The Volume Control trim and valve will only turn the water on and adjust volume; another valve and trim (Thermostatic) would be needed to operate the temperature.
