Toilet fits perfect in the small place. It has very clean and nice looks. easy to clean. However, we have to flush twice. So flushing is alright.

The toilet is fine and seems to work well, but we bought it from Home Depot, had it delivered and when the plumber came to install it, there was a very small crack on the tank. We had to uninstall the toilet, get Home Depot to deliver another one (next day), survive without a toilet for a night, then pay for a second trip charge and another hour to install the second toilet. Very frustrating and we spent an extra $300. Thanks, Kohler!

I’ve been using a Kohler toilet for a while now, and overall, I’m very impressed with its quality and performance. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for both style and functionality.

I had high expectations for the Kohler Gleam toilet, but unfortunately this one fell short in a pretty important way. The main issue is where the tank connects to the bowl. Even after professional installation, the tank has noticeable side-to-side wobble. My plumber tightened the bolts as much as safely possible—right up to the point where going further risks cracking the ceramic—and the movement is still there. This isn’t an installation issue; it’s a fit/quality issue. For comparison, I have American Standard toilets in the same home, and those tanks sit rock solid with zero movement. The difference in stability is immediately noticeable. Flush performance on the Kohler is acceptable, but nothing exceptional—and certainly not enough to make up for the poor tank-to-bowl connection. At this price point, I expected much better precision and overall build quality. Pros: Clean, modern look Comfortable chair height Soft-close seat is nice Cons: Tank wobbles even when properly tightened Fit between tank and bowl feels imprecise Overall quality doesn’t match expectations for Kohler Bottom line: I really wanted to like this toilet, but the constant tank movement makes it feel cheap and poorly engineered. Given my experience, I would not purchase this model again and would stick with brands that deliver a more solid, stable build.

The KOHLER Gleam is an excellent addition to our bathroom. It has a very sleek, modern look and the chair height makes it very comfortable to use every day, since we bought it about two month ago. The skirted design is a huge plus because it is so much easier to clean than traditional toilets. Highly recommend this model!

We replaced all 3 toilets in our house. Installation was fairly simple. We did have a big hiccup. Two of the 3 toilets arrive with damaged tanks. We had to purchase 2 replacement toilets and received our refund for the damaged units after they were picked up and returned to the warehouse.

I purchased this toilet three times, and only one arrived in proper condition. • First purchase: the tank arrived cracked and unusable. • Second purchase: the tank was not cracked, but the finish and edges were visibly flawed, with poor workmanship. • Third purchase: finally arrived in acceptable condition. The design and dimensions are fine, but the quality control is inconsistent. Discovering these issues before installation caused delays and extra hassle with returns. I strongly recommend inspecting the tank carefully for cracks or defects before installing.

Haven’t used it yet but looks nice and plumber said no problem installing.

I'm hopeful that the Kohler brand reputation and predominantly positive reviews here bode well for my experience over time but this was not the best start to my relationship with this toilet. The fill valve was only loosely attached to the tank, which I didn't pay much attention to until I was about to connect the supply line and call it a day, only to realize that the plastic nut holding the fill valve to the tank had been wound on at a bad angle, cross-threading and wrecking the thread of both and ultimately preventing the fill valve from being a half inch from being secured and sealed to the tank. A sizeable plastic molding stem on one corner of the nut that shouldn't be there is likely the culprit in a machine failing to wind this on at the correct angle and ultimately destroying both sides of the connection, but this should have been a very easy human quality control catch given the fill valve was obviously very loose. I used parts from a very similar Fluidmaster fill valve kit that I happened to have on hand to replace the stem and nut, but replacing a toilet is not the kind of task where you want to depend on luck and creative problem solving to get back to an operational state. On the positive side the ability to navigate a wax seal without fifty to a hundred pounds of weight clouding finer judgment and motor control is a significant step forward - so full points for breaking through an innovation barrier here. Areas for incremental improvement: I found the process of dropping the toilet bowl on the right spot to be entirely blind, requiring multiple takes and leading to an overall lack of confidence. The graphical instructions are to line the toilet up to the side nut assemblies, but it's not possible to see the side holes from the lifter's position, plus the main tank outlet connection at the back does not have confidence building drop-in feedback. My suggestion here would be to sticker the outsides of the bowl with crosshair lines, so it's easier to understand what's going on underneath that an installer needs to care about.
