We do warrant the enameled cast iron component of kitchen, entertainment or utility sinks manufactured after April 29, 2008 to be free of defects in material and workmanship during normal residential use for as long as the original consumer purchaser owns his or her home. I love my sink it actually makes my kitchen though I had Custom Countertops installed the sink made it all beautiful beautiful beautiful I'm so happy.. I'm so glad I didn't replace it with the former stainless steel cheap lightweight sink that I had before!!

We bought the Mayfield drop-in cast iron sink about a month ago, but just had it installed on granite. We used it in a half bath/laundry room. I absolutely love it! To have room for a backsplash with our granite, we put a 2x3 behind the cabinet to add an extra inch behind the sink. Otherwise, the backsplash would be touching the sink. We had it delivered to the store and checked it before we brought it home.

great small-space sink
Deep with small footprint. Perfect for galley kitchen with limited counter space. Replacing 40-year-old stainless steel sink, I reinforced under-sink cabinet to support the additional weight of cast iron. Instead of caulk to seal, used grout matching new tile countertop. Looks great. Works great. Sink rack unnecessary.

does not sit flat on countertop
I purchased two of these sinks. Both had extra material as part of the flange on the top right corner resulting in the sink not sitting flat on the countertop.

It did not lay flat on the countertop. It was just installed on 5/24. Will have to do creative caulking to make it look ok.
