Is there a way to adjust the settings since we find the water doesnt get hit enough? Our hot water in our other shower is way hotter so hoping there's a way we can adjust something behind the handle??

Does this work with the retro part #1307346?

Replacing Kohler valve handle & the cartridge approx 25 years old. I do not know what valve was used, but I uploaded a picture. I bought KOHLER Rite-Temp Mixer and Pressure-Balancing Unit because either freezing cold or max hot water SKU #1005538499.

does this unit require a specific valve?
Hi Cory, this is Lisa with Kohler Co. I am glad to answer your question. The shower valve required for installation with this trim is K-8304. The K-8304-KS-NA and K-8304-K-NA are the most common residential installations. The KS version has screwdriver stops to allow water to be shut off at the valve if it ever needs to be serviced. The K version does not have these stops. Thank you for choosing Kohler.
Is the Escutcheon made of plastic, and if it is plastic, does it carry the same lifetime warranty for discoloration and water spotting?
