Authentic fit but!!
Product fits perfect in my Sterling toilet. the previous one was not gor it and the color was white. The only minor thing is that paint sprayed has minor flaws on the bottom seat edges. is like the machine didn't cover enough. that being said easy to install and perfect fitment.

Stained seat
I bought this seat few months ago and after every cleaning it started to stain, now look horrible and ugly, I wasted my money in the wood one. I got another one from kohler.

Nice light quiet close seat, but made cheaply
This only lasted 2 years. It’s a great quiet close seat, but after daily use, it broke off the hinge.

Hinges Broke!
I bought this toilet seat about two years ago and yesterday the hinges broke, first one, then the other. It also shows staining where it's been cleaned, no, not with an abrasive cleaner. I have had other Kohler products for years and never expected such cheap materials. Not sure what to do at this point, but I really need a toilet seat!

Hinge broken
I purchased this a little over 3 weeks ago and the hinge is already broken. I expected more from an almost $40.00 sale price and Kohler. Very disappointed.

Avoid Plastic Hinges
Purchased July 2020, our Kohler Stonewood toilet seat cracked at the hinges in November 2022. First, the quiet-close feature stopped working properly, and within a week it had fully separated. In our family of five, no one weighs more than 150 lbs., and this is one of two baths, so it was a surprise disappointment to have it fail so spectacularly. Our previous "budget" brand seat lost its soft-close feature but didn't completely break when we replaced it. Won't buy Kohler again.

screw to attach stripped with first turn...
The screw stripped with first turn. Bad installation. Not intuitive. Not a cheap toilet seat so why didn't the manufacture focus on a better install? Would a metal screw really be that much more expensive?
