Absolutely the best LED suspended ceiling light fixture I have seen yet. It's very well built and it's only 1 3/4" deep which makes it great for low clearance installations. The fixture has three power choices and three light color choices (3500K,4000K and 5000K). I installed this fixture in my work shop in the room where I do most of my finishing of the cabinets I build and not only does it deliver a very bright light but there is absolutely no glare like I get from the florescent fixtures I have in there now. I will definitely be replacing all of my existing florescent fixtures with these fixtures.

So our ballasts were going out on our kitchen light and I was thinking of replacing them. I then thought, I should use this opportunity to convert to LED. The price of these bulbs has come way down and the color/brightness/temperature has improved greatly so we were ready to make the switch. Some time ago, I had converted my wood shop in the basement to all LED and I have been happy that I did it ever since. LED's use a lot less energy, they last a lot longer, and they produce way less heat. I like a lot of light in my shop and have a lot of lights down there and it used to get very hot in the summer time when I had them all going at the same time. Now it stays nice and cool. It was a good move, changing those out, and hopefully we will have the same luck with this new one. This 2 ft. x 4 ft. White Integrated Color Selectable 3500K/4000K/5000K LED Backlit Panel is actually designed to go into a drop ceiling, so I had to do some modifications to make it work in our current fixture. It fit perfectly so I went for it. As you can see in the pictures, I had to strip out all of the old hardware and the ballasts (which lightened it up enormously). I took the fixture down completely so I could work on it without having to work over my head the whole time. I also had to drill holes and affix nuts and bolts to it to keep it secured to the fixture. It was fun, after getting it installed, to play with the buttons that change the light levels...just one more reason we are very glad that we got this light and installed it. It works even better than the old one that we replaced it with. We actually got the light levels exactly like the old one colorwise, but in the end we changed it to a different color we liked better.

Absolutely, this is the easiest lightest replacement for a 2 x 4 fluorescent troffer. 'Has commercial application if you're running lights on 240 or 277 (480 volt / 3 wire) circuitry. An integral connection compartment makes wiring hook-up easy. (See photograph 1.) The second compartment encloses the dimming circuitry. Both have hinged (but non-captive) covers. Very low profile. Its attributes make it a featherweight to drop into a ceiling grid. It also provides maximal headroom when surface mounted (my choice). And casts a minimal shadow line about it. More than aesthetics, its slim design lessens housekeeping by virtually eliminating hidden dust-collecting surfaces. Energy wise it's at the forefront of LED technology. I enjoy the idea that I'm (1.) neither powering a ballast, (2.) nor conditioning a lot of heat, (3.) nor replacing bulbs / ballasts when they darken / fail. The diffuser minimizes light gradient across its surface. There is no glare from the light source. And it completely seals the fixture. (Again, no housekeeping.) (See photograph 2.) No safety / environmental issues with disposing of fluorescent tubes. No spare / consumable parts to stock. These will illuminate my game room and laundry room. Three color temperatures are available (and switchable). I prefer the "daylight" (5000K) setting everywhere. But in my household, others have preferences for "warm white" (3500K) or "cool white (4000K)." So, while it's not very practical to use the switch when occupying a room, it is a great feature for selecting the output that suits the principal occupant of personal spaces. (See photograph 3.) Likewise for the second switch that allows Low, Medium and High output settings. (See photograph 4.) Thus, having this wide latitude of brightness and color temperature, one can acquire the same fixture for every area of the home or office. I'll also use these in my clean shop / hobby areas. The uniformity they provide allows the same ceiling treatment in many areas. As to discerning detail. the 80 Color Rendition Index is appropriate to most tasks. Lastly, while smart device cameras are disoriented by LED frequencies, I have ben unable to adequately depict the smooth uniform diffusion of light, or to capture photographs of the varying light intensities I witnessed. Nevertheless, I've attached photographs 5 and 6 to show, somewhat, the difference in color temperatures produced, i.e., 3500K versus 5000K.

This is a very nice, easy to install LED 2 x 4 lay-in grid fixture. I really like the adjustable CCT color rendering, and the adjustable wattage. I personally like the 4000 K setting. A bright white but not a blue white. Installation was quit easy. The fixture was light enough, so it was easy to handle. The mounting tabs just twist over the gridwork for supporting in the ceiling. Wiring connections were basic; power, neutral, and ground. This is a good energy efficient replacement for the old fluorescent grid fixture.

I got the KOVA 2 ft. x 4 ft. White Integrated Color Selectable 3500K/4000K/5000K LED Backlit Panel because it seems like a interesting troffer light panel. it could also be used as a shop light if it was hung from chains. it has a standard 3 wire connection but also has the grey and purple wires to be connected to a dimmer that is not included. it works on 120 - 277 volts and has 2 switches on the side, they are for the color in K and the output in Lumen. switchable 3500, 4000 and 5000K, switchable 30, 40 or 50 watt use, with 50 watts providing 5250 lumens. It is damp rated. it is Not fire rated, Ambiant temp not to exceed 45 deg. C. it comes with instructions with pictures. How ever the power selection switch on mine is not aligned to the slot correctly so I can only switch between high and medium power, which is fine for use here but some other people might not like that if they were going to use low power.

This an LED replacement fixture for the standard two by four foot florescent fixtures present in most suspended ceilings. Unlike those old style fixtures this one is extremely lightweight making it very easy to maneuver into place. These are wire in’s and are completely sealed keeping the lens forever clear and clean. Puts out a nice and surprisingly bright light.

Brighter lighting at lower energy cost. I installed the Kova 2x4 ft LED panel light in the drop ceiling in my family room and replaced two existing fluorescent light fixtures, each with two 40W bulbs. The Kova panel has a switch that selects wattage at low (30W), medium (40W), or high (default at 50W). After testing all three settings, we found the 30W setting provided more light than the 160W combined fluorescent. There is also a switch for setting the temperature of the light at 3500K, 4000K, or 5000K to provide the lighting you prefer. Installation was a simple as drop the panel in place, twist in the locking tabs, and connect three wires.

I have been working installing lighting fixtures for many years, this has been on e of the easiest ever installed. I has an easy to open electric box built into frame, which gives it a very low profile. the directions are easy to follow. I t has 4 earthquake proof metal tabs for securing it to the ceiling grid. It gives off even lighting, and is dimmable via a dimmer, ot you can choose the lighting intensity you like using the 2 slide switches on the side, adjust low 30 watts, med 40 watts or high 50 watts. you can also adjust brightness with the second switch, 3500k warm white, 4000k soft white, or 5000k daylite.

This Kova light is going to be just right for my laundry room. It comes complete with instructions that are easy to follow and has light settings that can be adjusted from 3500k, 4000k or 500k, you can also change the wattage on it from 30, 40 or 50 watts which makes the light brighter . It also has DC connection on one side and AC connection on the other side so you can use this just about anywhere such as RV or home. When i turned it on to test it before my ceiling bracket gets here it is super bright, It is also very light so you could hang it just about anywhere with a ceiling mount or chains if you wanted. I went for ceiling mount since my house does not have grids.
