[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this pressure washer and after using it I feel this is a solid machine. First I had to out it together. It is fair easy to put together. I do suggest downloading the app and going through the steps. I thought this was a nice added feature to help you put it together. Most of the parts are made of plastic. My only concern with the machine is the longevity of some of the parts, primarily the threads of the hose attachment. I finally found a weekend to put it to good use. I decided to clean a wall outside my home. Hooking everything up was really easy. First I tried the gun attachment with the various settings. I had it on the hard setting and it seemed to do a pretty good job cleaning it. I did notice some moss/algae still remaining so I tried the 2nd gun attachment primarily for hard surfaces. Wow, what a difference between the two. It made easy and quick work of the rest of the wall. I'll definitely need to place around with the attachments and settings a bit more to see what is best for what surfaces. One other thing I'd like to mention is how lightweight this is compared to my gas pressure washer. I was able to maneuver the machine wherever I needed. I've attached some pics to see some before and after photos. I would recommend this pressure washer to anyone needing one for their home projects. I do think I'll look at some of the various attachments they offer for the machine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit came with plastic pieces unassembled, like handles and stand and storage tray. I don't see why these parts could not be assembled at the factory. The unit works well, has different pressure settings which is good for light cleaning and car washing. The sprayer attachments are not standard, so I can't use attachments from my gas pressure washer. There does not seem to be a very neat way to roll up the hoses and cords since there is only a hanger for either the hose or cord, not both

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using this pressure washer, it's always fun to see a big before/after difference! I've used other pressure washers before and the main difference between this and the really cheap electric ones is the ease of use and the quality of the components. It sounds like the engine should be longer lasting (but there isn't a way to tell that other than waiting a few years) but you can tell a difference in how long and thick the pressure hose is, how sturdy the lance attachments are, and how long and thick the power cord is. The water connection requires a special yellow connecter which comes with it, it's a nice quick disconnect for the hose but if you ever lose it you'll need to buy a new one. Also most pressure washers use a 1/4 quick connect spray tip, this has a special Karcher connection so if you want to use any other brand of nozzle or attachments then you'll need to buy an adapter (they are cheap online so it's not a huge concern, and not a worry at all if you don't have other pressure washer attachments). It has two lances, I'm not a huge fan of the main one that has adjustable power, even at the hardest setting it didn't seem much stronger than a normal hose. However the dirt-blaster lance was very powerful and shoots a strong stream in a circle (see my picture where is moved it very fast and you can see the circles) and that was great for cleaning the sidewalk. Because it comes with both options I rate it 5 stars! The installation is pretty confusing in the papers it comes with, I downloaded the app after putting it together and realized the app is mostly helpful for putting it together with better descriptions and pictures...so download that first. The main goal of this seems to be to make a dependable and easy to use machine where it tells you what settings to use etc, and they succeed at it!

I am German and have a Kaercher in Germany too - for many years now. For my US home I wanted to have a second Kaercher too, so I bought the K5. The more modern design is very nice but 2 remarks: 1. The storage compartment for the spray gun just allows the to store the gun without the lance. Why? I don't want to have the parts to get separated before I store them. 2. The hose guide doesn't work at all. The hose always is stuck and not gliding through as described. I always have to open up the whole hose and cannot not use the hose guide. Nice idea but it's not working under real circumstances. Would have expected more from the global leader...

I was surprised at how well this works, and the attachments are easy to swap in and out. I did buy a Karcher foam cannon accessory too, which is amazing at putting foam onto vehicles. I wish the product has come with at least an empty bottle for the plug n clean port. I had to order one from the UK, pretty hard to find in US.
