Whether it is spring, summer, fall or winter - the S 6 Twin sweeper from Karcher is suitable for year-round cleaning around the home and garden. Thanks to its powerful roller brush, its 2 side brushes and a sweeping width of 33.9" (860 mm) in total, it effortlessly sweeps areas of up to 32,300 sq.ft in an hour. It is ergonomic: The push handle can be set to 2 positions without having to stoop and can be optimally adapted to the height of the respective user. And it is clean: The waste lands directly in the 10.0 gal (38 L) waster container which keeps you free of dirt when emptying. Another highlight is the additional height adjustment of the side brush, which makes possible an adaptation of the contact pressure to the surface being cleaned - and therefore optimal sweeping results. The S 6 Twin can also be fully collapsed thanks to a footplate at the frame and stored in a space-saving manner. The sweeper is ready for use in no time thanks to the tool-free side brush attachment.

Hi Frank, It depends on the gravel, really- a lot of different types will be picked up with no issues, but there are some gravels out there that are a bit too small/heavy and don't cooperate well. The slickness of the surface can play a part too- polished concretes or epoxy coatings can make things slide around/away more than standard concrete surfaces.
Hi Larry, if you're asking if the S6 would be helpful in cleaning up after using moisture absorbing granules, it would depend on the granules themselves- how sturdy they are, how heavy, how wet- in general, if they could be easily broom swept, the S6 would likely do a reasonable job. If you're asking if it would help dry out a floor in general, the most it would do is spread moisture around- it is not designed to actually pick up liquids.
Hi, It would depend on the needles themselves- it does fairly well with shorter needles- the really long ones can be problematic. In addition, sap on the base of the needles can cause them to get stuck to the brushes.

Hi, The S6 Twin is a push sweeper, solely powered by the user pushing it. The rear wheels have gearing and belts attached that drive the main pickup roller brush as well as the two front collection brushes. No power cord or batteries are needed.
Hi Sassy, These push sweepers do not have a vacuum built into them and are designed for picking up larger debris - they will get some of the dust, but not as well as using a wide area vacuum.
Hi- It will most likely a do a good job with that, but can depend on the density, size, and shape of the mulch. Larger heavier styles could prove trickier to pick up.
Hi Kyle, It will depend on the texture of the parking lot, as well as other variable like how wet and compacted the sand got over the winter. Loose sand can prove a challenge for sweepers, especially if the sand is down in the grooves and textures of pitted asphalt or concrete. If it's a fairly smooth surface, it will pick it up fairly well unless it has been wet and allowed to dry and is no longer loose.
