We are securing a tarp around a wood rack that is 6’ wide x 2’ deep. What is the “stretch factor” of this bungee cord. I have seen a reference that a 40” cord will stretch to 60”. That is 50%. Will that work with this length cord?

I had to put 2 of these together to stretch across my 8 ft. roll up door so I'm saying the 48" is the stretched length. They are a quality item, if you can get by using more than one to do your securing, they are a good buy.
