When planting outdoor plants...does this potting mix need any other 'soil' added to it?...or is this stuff to be used straight up, as is, for planting & growing in a container?

Would this be a good option for window boxes? I'm just planting a variety of so called "deer resistant" flowers like marigolds etc. Nothing fancy. Thank you for your help!

I think that Kellogg Garden Organics Organic Outdoor Potting Soil is an excellent product. I used it in my outdoor pots and my raised garden. My flowers and vegetables are growing really well in this soil. I would recommend buying this because you get a larger quantity for a cheaper price than the other brands.

I was happy with this potting mix. It has a light, well-draining texture and worked great for my outdoor containers. My plants settled in quickly and have shown healthy growth. I also like that it’s made with natural ingredients. Overall, it’s a reliable potting mix that I’d buy again.

Love the delivery service from HD. I bought this as top soil for my garden bed. It was great and no issues with quality. Love that it’s organic and price is fair.

Full of wood chips and other junk very little actual soil.
This is the worst potting soil I ever used. It is full of wood chips and other junk that has nothing to do with soil. At least wood can turn to soil eventually but I don’t even know what 30% of the junk is in this so called potting soil. Waste of money. Don’t buy!

I like this soil the best for my vegetables and flower garden. It is easy to use and will be purchasing it again.

Decent soil for what it’s worth. Didn’t expect so many wood scraps. You’ll need to aerate the soil with your own amendments so it doesn’t stay dense ( I used vermiculite). Plants were growing slowly so be sure to add your own fertilizer.

This is our second year purchasing this potting soil. Worked great in our large patio pots. All of our flowers thrived.
