The Keystone 10,000 BTU 230-Volt through-the-wall air conditioner with 10,600 BTU Supplemental Heat Capability is perfect for rooms up to 450 sq. ft. In addition to cooling, this versatile unit also offers supplemental heat capability, providing you with an additional heat source to your main heat source when outdoor temperatures are above 45°F. It has electronic controls with LED display and a temperature sensing LCD remote control allowing you to conveniently see, set and maintain the room temperature from across the room. Money saving features include energy saver mode, sleep mode and a programmable 24-hour timer. This unit is designed for through-the-wall installation and is not designed for standard window installation (WALL SLEEVE SOLD SEPARATELY). This unit also requires a special 230-Volt/20-Amp electrical outlet and will not operate with a standard 115-Volt household electrical outlet.
- SUPERIOR COOLING AND HEATING: With a 9.5 energy efficiency ratio (EER), this 12,000 BTU through the wall air conditioner can effectively cool rooms up to 550 sq. ft and dehumidify up to 2.5 pints per hour. (Product is not suitable for window installation). Integrated electric heater provides supplemental heating of 10,600 BTUs.

In the midst of construction. Amazingly easy to install. The air-conditioner is very quiet and cools the room easily. The remote control is a very nice feature. With the unit in automatic, the air-conditioning or heating cycles work beautifully. The AC panel is easily understandable for operation. I am a new customer of Keystone but love my Keystone AC and I recommend this product to anyone searching for a wall AC.

The ac seems to blow cold. I have not used the heat yet. We are also in the middle of renovation so I don't have the insulation and sheet rock up yet but this ac is keeping us cool while we try to finish everything up. We had it built into the wall. It looks nice and fits great.
My only complaint thus far is with the grill cover that came for the back. It seems to be a one size fits all sort of thing and overlaps on the ends. It also came with a ground wire and had no instructions on what to do with it.
My only reason for giving it 4 stars is due to the lack of proper instructions and oversized grill cover.

I ordered this for my father inlaw for his home that does not have central air and heat. We looked every where for deals, for BTU, coverage, electrical type, functionality, quietness and energy savings and finally settled on this Keystone. A handyman installed this for my inlaw and did a great job. The AC worked as advertised and it cooled nicely. The only issue was the metal back panel and it was too large and it did not fit on the predrilled holes. My inlaw was upset at this and I contacted Keystone and sent them photos of the problem with NO resolution. Keystone customer service is HORRIBLE and takes them days to reply to you with excuses and no answers. I will have to think twice to buy Keystone products again because of their customer service & my experience with them.

The unit appears to be well made and it was easy to install through-the-wall with the Keystone-supplied sleeve. I am running it to cool my 550 sq ft garage in Southern Arizona. I've insulated the garage door with R8 fiberglass panels and 1 1/2 walls are insulated for the house. After letting run for about two days, it now maintains an even 78 to 80 degrees in the garage if I leave it running all the time with the temperature outside during the peak period is 110 to 115.
