A: Hello. Most 9 volt batteries today have an octagonal head on the plug instead of the old square one. We don't sell a 9-volt with a square head.
A: These Gold Peak 9-volt batteries with a 2-year life expectancy & warranty are made in Malaysia.
A: Hello. Two batteries come with the package.
A: It is meant to last 2 years. I have used them, and they lasted that long.
A: Hello. The answer would b no. The battery will need to be replaced every 6 months to a year with a new 9 volt battery. It will need to be a battery of a make and model listed in the owner's manual. We would strongly recommend a battery with a use-by date of 2 years out if you use a carbon zinc battery or strongly recommend a battery with a good use-by date of 3 or 4 years out if you use an alkaline battery. Batteries close to their use-by date can often not be powerful enough for our alarms or not last 6 months to a year. For best results, use an alkaline battery as listed in the owner's manual and with a really good use-by date of 7 to 10 years out.
