Hello. This alarm is residentially rated and has to be hardwired. We do not have a smart battery-only smoke and carbon monoxide alarms.

Hello. No, this alarm detects smoke and detects carbon monoxide created when you burn fuel such as natural gas or charcoal but it does not burn hot enough to burn off the carbon monoxide. It does not pick up raw natural gas.
