Doors just fine - hardware super cheap
Our original door was just fine until our four year-old kicked it hard enough to crack it. When I bought this product to replace the cracked door, it was clear that all the hardware was cheaper than the original - every mounting piece was light plastic instead of wood or metal. Because of this, the dowel pin for the leading edge of the door won’t stay seated in the slider - there’s too much play in the slider for the pin to stay. A serious problem - no good if the door won’t stay in the track.

Not a "finished" product
The surface of these doors were spray painted after assembly, including the hinges. Where some of the slats are held in place on the edges, you can see raw wood. Also, the paint is very rough...feels more like a primer. The units need to be sanded. Because the paint is rough, and very flat, the doors get marked up very easily.

Perfect for small closet doorway
This bi-fold door came with clear instructions and parts needed for an easy install. I couldn't decide if I wanted a barn door or slab door, but as soon as I saw this bi-fold door, my decision was made. Very solid. Good quality and great looking.

Cheaply manufactured
Have owned a construction company for 25 years, purchased 2 of these doors to install into a customers home. After inspecting the door, realized the screw holding one of the removable caps was angled. Removed the screw to cut door down, screw fell right out. Im thinking the screw just wasnt put in straight...so i continue on and cut the door to size. Re installing caps realized, the screw wasnt crooked, the core of the door is about an 8th of an inch short, which IS a big deal since the caps were glued on, screw wasnt holding because there is nothing but empty space below the screw hole. So had to glue cap on, and screw in place. Moved on to door number 2, and guess what????? SAME ISSUE IN THE SAME PLACE, core is an 8th short and impossible to put the screw back into. Very disappointed also because the slats that go across the door are all warped and openings between the slots are many different sizes. Substandard product for the price, NEVER AGAIN!!!

This door replaced a regular swinging door into my laundry room. It's a great improvement to the gaping doorway I've lived with for two years. I bought my own handle to fancy it up. It did not come with all the screws stated in the instructions but I had some laying around. Overall great value for blocking off a laundry room.

plantation solid core door
I like the look of this door very much . The track of this door is flimsy and the pins that go on the top of the door are made out of plastic . Yes I said plastic !! The plastic pin catches as it close because the track is porly made. The pin will disinegrate in a nano second as the door is opened and closed. I’ve sent an email to Kimberly Bay today April 30, 2020. Lets see what happens . I shouldn’t have to go out and buy a track and accessories for a brand new door. Buy American!!! My lesson learned. Shame on me

I really like the look of these doors but, I should have paid more attention to the negative reviews. Currently installing 4 of these doors and so far the frames of 2 of the doors have come a part. To fix them I had to drill out the broken dowel pins and glue in new ones. It looks like the dowel pins where made of really cheap wood because they are very brittle especially compared to the new ones I bought. For me it was easy enough to fix but, it took a bit of time and I only did it because I didn't want to have to go through the hassle of returning them and waiting another 2 weeks for new doors.
