This came as a recommendation from Home Depot and it was the wrong part for a different type of claw foot tub... wish I had known this and not trusted HD's recommendation.

Well, this product is a tough one to rate. First off it is basically a well made faucet for the price. Solid feeling and attractive, and is very stable when mounted to the floor. Easy enough to assemble (albeit the instructions are very minimal, and could be a bit more informative). Now comes the not so good part of the rating. As others have mentioned, it is very tough to get rid of the leaks. I'm still trying to come up with the right tapes, sealants, etc. to resolve a few small leaks. As others have pointed out, these appear more like a machine thread than a pipe thread, so leaks will happen.
Overall, I still think it's a good product, and not so crazy, overpriced like a lot of the other tub fillers.

Unsubstantial anchoring in the floor provided by this faucet manufacturer. Too many connections that can leak. Difficult to plumb underfloor. I wish I had gone with a different manufacturer.
