Doesn't work
Stuff plain doesn't work. I soaked brushes that had latex paint residue overnight and they look virtually identical afterward. Washing the milky chemical off is also a real pain. Stick to the old tried-and-true brush cleaners. Do not recommend at all!

I have to agree with some of the other folks here that this stuff just didn't work. I grabbed this very quickly from the isle, that's my mistake for not paying attention. I'm all for the "Green" initiative but this just plain doesn't work. The stuff comes out white, I almost thought I bought something someone had returned and put back in the bottle. I'd read all the reviews and stay away from this product. I have yet to try their other products but this one, for sure, didn't work on oil based paint. It failed to properly clean the paint residue from the brush. I'm pretty sure my $10 brush is useless now. I'll try calling the KleanStrip product help line at 800-398-3892 but not sure how much that's going to help my situation.

No better than soap and water
This only works with fresh latex paint. As in, you literally finish painting and soak the brush in this immediately. I tried it on dried on paint and let it sit overnight--it did absolutely nothing. Basically it doesn't work any better than dish soap and warm water.

Klean Strip Green Brush Cleaner is a low odor brush cleaner that removes dried latex paint and fresh oil paint and is less harsh on skin when compared to other brush cleaners. Soak brush for several hours, or overnight, until the paint is softened. Loosen residue with a brush comb or metal fork. Shake out excess cleaner and wash brush thoroughly with warm soapy water, shake out excess water, and hang brush to dry. We recommend using our regular strength Klean Strip Brush Cleaner if the Klean Strip Green Brush Cleaner does not performance as well as you expected.

the absolute worst
this stuff is TERRIBLE. it did absolutely NOTHING to my paint brushes even after soaking them for 24 hours. I would have been better off throwing my brushes out instead of wasting $9 on this milky junk. the old stuff worked fantastic and the replacement is nothing short of trash. there isn’t even a way to dispose of it on the back. I hope I have my receipt because I want my money back.

Klean Strip Brush Cleaner will remove dried oil-based and latex paint when paint brush is soaked in metal can filled with cleaner for several hours or overnight. Residue can be loosened with brush comb or metal fork. After agitating the bristles in fresh cleaner, wash with warm soapy water, shake out excess and hang to dry. It will also clean fresh oil-based stain very quickly without soaking.
