Pretty durable and sturdy pocket knife. The large blade unlock push tab does make it easier to release it and close. The metal loop on the end of the handle is nice to have it clipped to a bag or cable of sort. The only real issue with this one that I have not had with any other knife I have bought before is the oil they put on the blade just covered the handle and everything. Just a quick wipe though and it was good. Recommend

This is the little knife that can...it can really do the job of cutting. It's is extremely sharp, so if you purchase one, be careful how you use and handle it to avoid a self-inflicted nick. It works well for cutting electrical wiring as pictured in one of the photos and cuts through cardboard boxed relatively easy. I have even used it to cut through heavy cardboard and plastic. A small but great utility knife that's put together quite well, and I would recommend.

The blade is nice and thick and very durable. The blade is really sharp. You might want to wipe off some of the excess oil, otherwise your fingers might slip when opening or closing the blade. It cuts like butter. It cut through plastic packaging with ease. It’s a good size, it’s not to small and not too big making it easy to carry around. It definitely gets the job done.

This is a easy to store pocket knife. It does the basics, cutting open packages or breaking zip ties off. The handle fits in your hand but the small factor knife is a bit tiny for larger hands. The wood is also covered in a gun oil type of finish. It has a very strong odor and using a towel didn't wipe away much. After using it in the garden and around the house, most of the oil has rubbed off and the smell isn't as bad. The knife is sharp enough to do some basic housework and has kept it's sharpness for the past couple months of use.

For me a good quality pocketknife is an everyday essential necessity. I always carry one with me. I usually carry a larger 4 in folding pocketknife, but decided to try something a bit less bulky so I ordered and received the Klein tools 2 ¼ in. carbon steel single blade pocketknife. It has a fairly slim profile and is a comfortable carry. The quality is very good and the locking blade comes razor sharp. This is a basic utility knife which is good for so many uses. There is not a day that goes by that I don’t use my pocketknife. Klein is a quality; made in the USA product that I would recommend to anyone. See pictures below.

The Klein Tools 2-1/4 inch carbon steel coping blade pocket knife has one blade that locks in the open position. To close the knife you press sideways on the brass tab and fold the blade back into the handle. The knife has a ring that you can connect to a tether to incase you loose ahold of the knife or accidently fell out of your pocket. The knife has plastic sides held on with brass rivet pins. On my knife one of the pins stuck out a bit because it didn't get peened over properly so it was a little rough. The blade is fairly sharp. Not to bad a knife but not real high quality. It does have a solid feel though.

I received my Klein tools carbon steel coping blade pocket knife. The blade is 2.25 in length. One of the first things I noticed when I removed it from the packaging is that the blade and knife was stained with the oil or grease the manufacturer used. I think it was used to keep it from rusting. The staining was very hard to remove. The knife is a great size to carry in my pocket. It has a lock on it so the blade will stay open when I'm using it. The knife is made in the USA.

I looked for a knife like this for two purposes. Not only for electrical uses but I do tree grafting in the spring. I use a coping knife for this as well. The other knives I have are not folding making it difficult to carry. This knife folds but when you open it, it locks in place eliminating the chance of accidently folding it on your fingers. I can easily carry it in my pocket while stripping wires and other electrical uses, but also when I am in the field grafting trees. The blade is good quality and sharp. It appears the edge will hold well and not need sharpening often. I plan to test for other jobs. Good size, weight and seems very durable.
