Klein tools have a great reputation for quality and these screwdrivers are no exception. The rubber grips are first rate and very comfortable. The 4' length make an easy addition to the toolbox or belt and the fact that the package contains a slotted and Phillip's head all the better. I got these to replace some aging Craftsman tools which are no longer made in the USA like this. Very good tools and highly recommended.

I used to be a electrician and I've been using Klein tools since I was an apprentice. Klein tools are quality tools that will last for years. Sometimes I'm a little rough on the tools and they don't last quite as long as they could have, but they still last a long time. I really enjoy the way the Klein screwdrivers feel in my hand with that nice cushion grip.

Certain tools I save for the projects that I know are going to need better grade tools to get the job done better and faster. My go-to screwdrivers have always been Klein Tools for over thirty years. I love the grip and the weight and balance. I've dropped them and abused them but they've always withstood the punishment. In the pics, I contrast the new Klein Tool phillips head screw driver with my old Klein phillips head - the old one is at least twenty-five years old and still looks in decent shape. Compare that to the slotted zinc-coated competitors slotted screwdriver - within months after I purchased them, the zinc coating began to break off leaving very sharp surfaces. Definitely worth owning.

Full disclosure: I have been provided with a free sample for review. I have no affiliation with the manufacturer nor do I know anyone that does. This review is my honest opinion and has not been influenced by the free screwdrivers. I’m a 60 something DYI guy that owns at least 40 screwdrivers. Some are gunsmithing drivers with parallel blades to provide the gripping force at the bottom of a straight slot screw for optimum grip without marring the screw’s appearance. I also use these for antique clock repair. These screwdrivers are not appropriate for such specialized purposes. They are a really good set for occasional use. First the good. These screwdrivers appear to be well built and have fantastic grips for really cranking a wood screw. They have really nice soft rubber grips over super hard plastic. The blades are black oxide finish which will provide protection against rust. Cheap drivers have chrome plating on the business end and sooner or later the plating flakes off and rust sets in. These drivers should provide many years of service. The straight slot driver has a square shaft which allows for the use of a small wrench or pliers to provide additional force when removing stubborn screws. Now for the not so good. While these drivers are nice, they are not top shelf. First of all the round handles allow them to easily roll off any surface that’s not level. Secondly the handles aren’t marked with their size. The markings are more than useless. They have the model number and shaft length. Quality screwdrivers should be clearly marked with their size. For example the Philips driver should be marked with a color coded #2. My last two complaints are that they are not magnetic and their blades are not laser etched for improved gripping. After all that I’ve mentioned these screwdrivers fit well in screws of average size and do their jobs much better than bargain drivers and I have to give them 4 stars. In order to earn five stars they would have to be amazing. While not amazing they are really good and I recommend them to anyone that only needs a couple of screwdrivers. If you’re trying to build a more complete set go ahead and bite the bullet and get a complete matching set that will last a lifetime.

This set of screwdrivers is excellent. They are precision machined with sharp edges on the blades, this prevents slipping from the screw slot and the excellent rubber sleeve allows to apply a lot of torque without ruining the screw head. The advantage of avoiding coating/plating the tip lies in the fact that the dimensions are precisely kept and the edges do not round off, like often seen on fully coated blades. The diameter of the handle is just right for 'L-sized' hands to comfortably use them for any application. They are among the best quality screw drivers I have used in 30 years, after several outlet installations, the tips are as good as new

When you get tired of your screwdrivers slipping from the head of your screws, get yourself screwdrivers made by Klein Tools. The precision-machined tips have a tight, exact fit to the screw head. I like the Tip Ident markings on the end of the handle. It helps lining up the blade to the screw head in tight spaces. The handles have a rubberized cushion-grip which makes turning the screwdriver easy when only turning the handle by 3 fingers. I work on a lot of desktop computers that have small screws located behind components. Because these screwdrivers are not magnetized, I can use them inside a computer case without the tip wondering to the nearest metal surface. Klein Tools screwdrivers come in varying shaft lengths, so you can purchase the right length for a particular job, or try and find a set with varying tips and shaft lengths.

These are some pretty sweet screwdrivers. Both the flathead and phillps head versions really “bite” into the heads of the screws and hold them firm, limiting turnout. This is more evident with the Phillips head (see uploaded image). Both screwdrivers are well balanced, and feel good in the hand. There is a clear difference between these screwdrivers and the two dollars cheapos you can buy.

These are excellent screw drivers for using in hard to reach places where the 4 inches helps greatly. The rubber like cushioning helps you get a good grip for tightening and twisting the screw in multiple places. The Phillips and slotted bits on this allow for a good tight grip on the screw without any slipping while tightening or remove a screw. These will have a place in your tool set of screw drives for many years to come.

25 years ago, I worked at an electrical supply house and sold hundreds of Klein Tools products. The electricians loved them. Now I own a few different Klein tools and the are among my favorites.  I have been using these screwdrivers for a few years now and they work well. They are well constructed and do not easily strip the screws. They fit well on the heads and the grips are comfortable to use. What I like most about them is that they fit perfect when wiring receptacles and changing plates. The slotted screwdriver head fits perfectly on the receptacle plate screws. I have found many other brands that do not.  Another bonus is that they are labeled on the top of the driver so you can easily recognize them in you tool bag.

The KLEIN TOOLS 2-PIECE 4 IN. SHANK CUSHION-GRIP SCREWDRIVER SET WITH 1/4 IN. SLOTTED AND #2 PHILLIPS is a heavy duty well constructed screwdriver set. The cushion grip fits your hand nicely and allows for a good tight grip. The slotted and #2 Philips heads should handle most of you screwdriver needs. This nicely balanced screwdriver set feels good in you hand and allows for comfortable use. I recommend this Made in the USA product.
