Blue Hard Hat, Non-Vented, Cap Style

This Klein Tools Blue Hard is Non-Vented Cap Style.. It is compact and simple. Made from Polycarbonate resin, it's very strong, durable, and Impact Resistant. ANSI Certified, CSA Certified. It features a Quick Adjust Ratchet. Has added options for headlight and face shield. Although the label says One Size Fits All, the sweat band is adjustable for individual comfort. This hard hat stay snug to your head for added protection. The blue color allows this hard to stand out or for easy identification.

This is a very comfortable hard hat with lots of features. The headband has an easy to grip knob that was turns easily to adjust the headband to fit perfectly. The sweat band can be removed for cleaning when necessary. There is also a pad in the top of the hat webbing that can be adjusted a little so that it also fits just right. The head band can also be turned around so the hat can be worn backward which is a real plus when working where there are low hanging pipes or other obstructions that would be blocked from view by the bill on the hat. They also provide reflective stickers that were very easy to put on and they reflect well. And, there is a place on both the front and back of the hard hat to mount their accessory light so the wearer can see what they are doing when in low light situations.

This hat-style helmet is super solid and well constructed. The tightness knob in the back is very easy to turn. It clicks as it tightens and feels like it will hold up to heavy use. The inner lining has a decent amount of padding and holds the helmet up off your head by about 2 inches so it breathes very well. The only downside is that I ordered the shaded visor which is sold separately as an accessory but it is not compatible with this style of helmet. It was not stated anywhere on the visor packaging that it was only compatible with certain styles of Klein tools helmets. So if you are hoping to order accessories, good luck, because the labeling doesn't make it clear which accessories work with which helmets. Unless they update the descriptions on their packaging or website it will be a bit of a guessing game.

This klein hardhat is all about comfort and functionality. The multi adjustable liner made it very easy to get the fit i felt i needed. Atypical is the pivoting portion on the back of liner, making nice the ability to get behind different head shapes to have a good hold. The ratcheting mechanism tightens in small increments and is easily released. The comfort is topped by the removable and washable forehead and top of the head pads. This is absolutely the most comfortable i have ever been in a hardhat. Aside from the comfort, i like that the cap style is reversible. It is fairly lightweight, even with the pads, all while maintaining a good, sturdy thickness. For low light jobs, this hat has two spots for accessories. One in the front and one in the back. I have a light which easily slides in and latches in. Just as easily as it goes in, it can come out. The blue color is easily seen but for extra caution there are 4 small, reflective stickers attached to the instruction sheet.

This blue hard hat, is non vented and cap style. It has a breathable, padded sweat-wicking sweatband and top pad to improve comfort and are machine washable. It also has an accessory mounts on front and back to ensure Klein headlamps attach securely and precisely every time without straps or zip ties. It has an easy one-handed adjustment with large knob for optimal head fit. Even with gloves on, it is still easy to adjust the large knob. I love this hard hat and happy to have acquired it.

This cap style hard hat is a very high quality product. It’s comfortable. The insides are adjustable for a perfect fit. It has a built in sweat band, rear neck pad, it has electrical protection up to 20kv.flexible open design for great air circulation. The sweat band is machine washable. Accessories ie worklight, headlamps are available. Overall a great product.

I worked as a construction consultant for a period of time and used several different hard hats that were issued to me by the company that we were working for. I also wore a hard hat in a manufacturing job in my younger days that was issued by my employer, so I have had quite a lot of experience in hardhats. I have another brand that I currently use a good deal and this one seems to be a little more comfortable than the other brand. We have been removing many trees, dead limbs and brush on our rural property and these help protect us during this work. With the adjustable web, it allows the hat to sit higher or lower on your head. The ratchet system will tighten the hard hat enough to keep it from coming off and yet keeps it comfortable. It stays on your head very well after adjusting the fit. There is also a mount for the front or back of the hard hat that lets you attach a headlight. You can change the suspension so that the brim can be in the front or the back, depending on your needs. The hat is comfortable enough and works well for my work this fall and winter, but without vents, it will be hot in the summer. In my case, I have a vented hardhat, but I might recommend a vented version of this one and then get a hard hat liner from the Depot for cooler weather work. Also, you might be surprised at how handy a headlight is on a hardhat, which is offered by Klein tools as an option. I use one quite a lot on the farm.

The Hard hat fits great. Attachments for the hard hat are a premium convenience. I would recommend this hard hat to anyone who works long hours wearing them.
