Bluetooth Speaker with Magnet and Hook

This speaker was easy to set up and connect with bluetooth to my iphone and I will say I am not an IT expert in my 70's so seniors it should be easy for most. The speaker is made of high quality and very easy to install anywhere where there is a metal area for the magnet to attach to in the area where you are working. I am not sure how far the bluetooth signal will carry but I do know it works up to 30 feet as that was how far I was away at times. I would recommend for anyone that loves listening to music or other things like blogs while working.

This speaker followed me around renovation projects for about two weeks. I really like it's size and that you can set, lay, snap (very strong magnets) or hang it where you work. The charging through USB is standard by now, but being able to use it to charge your cell phone or use it as battery pack for other USB powered devices is excellent. Setting up a Bluetooth connection is very easy and usage is intuitive, even answering your phone. The option to daisy-chain multiple units was not tested and I do not see it as a major feature. This is a speaker to be used locally, do not expect to get a lot of sound pressure from the large displacement driver. It sounds ok and volume is fine if you work close to it, too much volume will cause distortions - not unusual for such a small device. The rubber sleeve is very effective in protecting it from 'rough treatment' as it happens to occur once in a while. I wish they would have marked the controls somehow, the symbols are same color as the body, plus put a note somewhere to remind folks how to connect (double-press power button) as we have so many devices these days and I do not want to have to look for instruction sheets every time. Overall a fun product - part of my tool bag by now!

This small Bluetooth speaker can put out some powerful sound. For me, the instructions were almost worthless, as they were very tiny print (in multiple languages) with minimal graphics. Luckily, the device itself is intuitive enough that you can figure out what does what and how to operate it. It charges (quickly) with a USB-mini-USB cord (supplied) and also comes with a sound jack connection cord. Bluetooth pairing was easy. Sound quality is very good at various volumes. The back has a very strong magnet which holds the device in place. My only disappointment with this device is that the graphics indicating operations are not readily visible since they are the same color as the base (orange on orange). It would be easier to make out the symbols if they were black on orange (note that I will be trying to do just that with a Shaprie).

This speaker has so many features, but on the most important one - the sound - it rocks. Good quality has both low and high volume. Sound come out both the front and back of the speaker. The Bluetooth connection is effortless. It also comes with an audio cable is our phone still has one of those. You can use the speaker to charge your phone or other device via a USB connection. Battery life is outstanding. You can also answer phone calls to a connected phone with the built in microphone. I don't have a second one, but you can daisy-chain a second unit from the same Bluetooth connection. Although clearly geared for a jobsite (very rugged), I use it at home, both inside and more when I am working in the yard. Very easy to carry around and the Bluetooth connection is excellent. There is a hanger for hanging via a nail or screw. There is also a magnet for attaching to a metal stud. Big thumbs up on this speaker.

This is a great little speaker . Has a lot of versatility comes with the charging cable and a “aux” cable. The speaker hooked up to my phone very easily and quickly. The controls are easy to use and well marked. The sound is high quality and can be set for loud. The only issue I have is the metal hook to hang on a nail or screw is hard to get out needed a screwdriver to pull it out.

Great little speaker for use on a job site or at home. The speaker weighs a little over one pound and is easy to use. The initial charge takes about three hours, but after that, you are all set to go. All of the controls are on the top of the speaker. The only thing I wished that they had done is outlined them in black or a different color so that they were more visible. That said, they work just fine. The speaker has a powerful magnet that easily grabs on to metal surfaces. There is also a hook if you want to hang it. The Bluetooth connection is approximately 100 feet, which is plenty of distance if you want to use it outdoors. Drop protection is a little over six feet and it has an IP 54 for water/dirt resistance. The speaker provides up to 20 hours of excellent sound at a 70% level. I'm sure some purists will quibble at how good the sound is, but I plan to use it while I'm working on the job so as long as it is putting out decent music, I'm fine with that. The orange color makes the speaker stand out, so it is easy to see. It also has a speakerphone feature so you can broadcast the call over a large area if needed. All in all, a great product at an affordable price by a company with a stellar reputation.

I am pretty excited with this Klein Bluetooth speaker. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is rugged enough to hold up in my woodworking shop, but it still is stylish enough to use on my work bench or desk. It is plenty loud enough for my shop and the sound quality is better than I expected. And, with the nail hook and magnetic back I can attach this speaker almost anywhere. It has an automatic shut off when I'm away from the unit too long with my phone out of range. It will also turn itself off if it doesn't sense activity. It was easy to connect to my phone with no hassle. And, you can even use this speaker to charge other devices. The speaker comes with an auxiliary cable and a USB-A to USB-C charging cable. My only complaint is the speaker uses a USB-C connector for charging instead of the much more universal USB Micro-B connector. I have USB Micro-B charging cables scattered all around my house and shop, but this is the only device I own that uses a USB-C connector. I highly recommend the Klein Tools Bluetooth Speaker for anyone in an active work environment.

Klein Tools Bluetooth Speaker with Magnet and Hook, is a pretty awesome portable speaker, the size is about right for a toolbox or tool bag, fully charges by USB connection in less than 4 hours, has a pretty good range (I tested it for about 100 feet). I connected it to my iPad Pro in less than 1 minute and to my Samsung cell phone in about the same time. It has a magnet to temporarily mount out of the way and a hook that folds out if you need to hang it from a nail or something like that. You can even you it as a speaker phone for incoming calls with your cell phone.

This Klein tools Bluetooth speaker comes in, a nicely designed hanging card package, one of the nicer ones that I've seen. It says texas on the package, however that's just a company office, as it has made in China, on the package also.  The instructions are in a nice short to read pamphlet that includes them in Spanish and French. I'm not testing the height This can take a fall from, but the package says 2 meters so that's what the limit is. You need to charge the battery before you use it. It's a nice weight includes audio aux cord, a USB cord to charge it with. Picks up your Bluetooth signal fast, is powerful little thing, for you old guys that remember the start of the cb radio fad there was an plastic mount for over the transmission hump in the cars. It had the same speaker size and was loud. However this Bluetooth speaker is controlled by software not analog tubes. So this one is loud but it reflects the devices equalizer settings perfectly.  You may not have heard them on your device.  But you will on this Bluetooth speaker. Setting it up is very simple. Press a few buttons on your device and on the speaker case that's all. The speaker handles the full music and vocal ranges. Even better when using the devices equalizer.  One issue with this speaker.  You need an high powered output USB port. I used an usb2  powered hub port. Took 11 hours to fully charge it right out of the box. Ummm not in the instructions but I got the idea to try it. So I plugged in the charger cord while playing the speaker. It kept playing with the charger light blinking, as to whether or not it charges or just replaces the power of what is being used, depends on if you have a fast charging USB wall adapter or the slow computer USB plug. It might also only be a good thing to do if the batteries have run down. You don't want to over charge them. But this has the potential to continue playing music past the 20 hours of battery life, by playing while charging. Also the audio aux cord allows you to plug in the device and not use the Bluetooth link. Only things with that is the speaker will control its own volume. And the volume on the device has to be all the way up, and you have to leave the device where the speaker is. The telephone call pause works. But do you really want everyone else in the work area to hear your phone calls? I would only connect it to an old phone with no phone number,  but still has a good battery and storage for music. The Bluetooth link seems to go 18 feet through interior walls or a brick wall of the house then turns into a garbled mess.

This is a pretty awesome speaker. It has both a hanger and 2 strong magnets as ways to hang the speaker up. The magnets held very securely to my refrigerator when I tried it. I also put a screw in a 2x4 stud and hung it off of that and it worked great. The sound is really good. It's not your home stereo quality sound but it sounds good enough for playing music or listening to podcasts while I do my renovation work. It pairs quickly and easily to my iPhone and also to my Mac laptop. What's neat is that if you have more than one of these, you can daisy chain them together for more sound. It also has a microphone button so you could say use Siri on your phone. It will also allow you to charge other small USB devices like phones and earpods. It also comes with a 1/8" wire so you could plug a sound source into it, like maybe a computer if you don't have bluetooth. I really enjoy using this speaker!
