No...They said that they would deliver it to anyone's house but yours... probably could ask your sisters husband's brother to give you a ride and 2 finger one at the store
Yes, RG6 is your standard coaxial cable used in homes for cable tv. This tool works great,
Sorry, don’t know. It worked very well with rg6.
Yes the connectors and stripper in this kit will work with Quad Shield RG6.
The Klein Tools VDV002-818 Coax Installation and Testing Kit contains push on F connectors (model # VDV812-606) that meet all requirements for F connector interface. There is also a stripper (model # VDV110-061) that works with RG59, RG6 and RG6Q coax cable. The tester (model # VDV512-057) works with F connectors. The compact compression crimper (model # VDV212-008-SEN) crimps compression F-connectors to coaxial cable.
Yes
Yes, the tester should work through a barrel connector as long as the actual terminal ends have continuity and the barrel is not damaged. You cannot touch the inner core with the outside conductor. As for the distance, I tested a connection which is probably 50 ft and it worked. I'm sure you can even surpass that if you have good connections.
Works on some other brands as well, but it is not a crimping tool. Works only on compression type fittings which is what is the standard these days.
