The gloves provide a nice fit and are pretty warm with the insulated liner. The palm side has a nicely textured substance that really improves grip without giving up dexterity. The backs of the gloves have a tough rubberized coating making them essentially waterproof. All in all the gloves are a bit tight but comfortable and can be easily worn all day.

The Klein Tools Extra-Large Thermal Dipped Gloves, Gray Knit/Black Coating/Black Trimmed Cuff were ideal for working in this winter weather while building and repairing my chain link fence. The thermal dipped gloves kept my hands and fingers warm while the gloves were flexible enough for me to hold the nuts and bolts without dropping them. The Extra-Large size definitely did the trick for my hands.

I’m really glad I got these gloves. They have been great for working on my car during the cold and wet wi get months. They are very warm and grip well. The aren’t too bulky and allow me to still get into tight spaces. They are durable too, no rips or tears after a few big projects. I’m 6 foot 180 lbs. I usually wear a large glove but the XL fit me better with these ones.

KLEIN TOOLS EXTRA-LARGE THERMAL DIPPED GLOVES, GRAY KNIT/ BLACK COATING/ BLACK TRIMMED CUFF
These are great work gloves. They are built well... materials are tough, yet still flexible. They have very good gription.
My hand measured size chart to be a perfect XL. So, I got XL. and they fit great! I hate gloves that fit skin tight, and the extra sizing gave the gloves the loosenosity that I want... especially in the finger tips. All the rubber knuckle and finger guards line up right where they should. They feel like nothing is there; and they bend like nothing is there too! Nice job on that!
These gloves are great. I got the XL size and they fit snug with a good tactile feel. I’m 6’3” 240 lbs. with size 13 feet if that gives any indication of size. They are comfortable and flexible. These have a cloth lining to give a degree of insulation to the wearer. The latex covering on the outside will help to keep hands dry on the inside and the lining can wick moisture away skin adding to comfort. These gloves are machine washable and have washing instructions on the attached label. I rarely wash gloves, I just kind of keep wearing the dirt right back off of them, but I can see where washing is an advantage. The pair that I have are made in China. All in all, these are nice gloves that I will use when dealing with wet cable and ropes outside. I recommend these gloves.

These work gloves are very comfortable while using them during the winter. They’re very well insulated inside and not too thick when grabbing tools. The hand side is coated with black coating for gripping things. The glove also extends past the wrist for more seal on your arm to block out cool air. Having gloves this solid will lead to the inability to pick up narrow things in tight spaces, but obviously this is something that goes without saying. Overall great pair of winter work gloves.

I have fairly large hands and these XL fit perfectly. Sometimes I need to upsize to XXL but these gloves are true to size. The first thing I noticed was the felt lining. Talk about soft and warm comfort. I read that these are double dipped thus giving you confidence when gripping tools and materials when working. The final coating is a latex shell for water resistance. I tried them in the kitchen sink and my hands remained bone dry. These are not my first pair of gloves from Klein Tools and those older gloves are still serving my needs well. Klein Tools is synonymous with quality and I think I will get many years of use with these.

Product Certifications: Surface materials of gloves have been rated for your handling things that might slip out of your hands when you Grip onto items. The Foam latex dip surface of this glove is rated Very Good, Excellent, and Fair for Dry-Grip Wet-Grip and Oil Grip respectfully.
To boil all these ratings down will probably be the task of for the safety officer for the company you work for. They will also probably provide, or sell you, the gloves you will need. For example ANSI A4 Cut rating is recommended for: Appliance Manufacturing, Automotive, Construction, Glass Handling, Machining, Metal handling, Metal Stamping, and Paper Production. This probably covers most conditions of DIY, home-owner projects.
So how do you select your glove. Fit and Feel should rate high also. This glove was supposed to be size XL (10). I have Large to X-large hands with medium length fingers. This glove was a snug fit. Making a fist was not comfortable if held for a long period of time. Holding my shovel was not uncomfortable. My fingers are about 3/8inch from the end to the glove fingers. My long fingered, medium size hand, test person fit all the way to the end. My huge hand, test person could not get the glove on.
With the gloves on, I tried to use my medium size cell phone and was unable to type anything. I did not have a hot day to test if my hands were going to sweat. Being in a warm house for an hour did not seem to make my hands sweat. I tried the gloves in water (making sure that the water was not on the cuff) and it stayed dry for the 5 minutes of the test. I think the certification test for this is actually 30 minutes. I also tested putting my hand into Ice cubes for 5 minutes and it got cold but did not seem to be uncomfortable during that time. I also tried taking a baking dish out of the oven and the glove felt like it was starting to warm up after 15 seconds (heat is probably bad for the latex coating as that is how it is “hot dipped” onto the glove).
I like the gloves and they would have been wonderful for a project where I was digging holes 24” deep by hand and on a project where I was scratch building a 8x12 foot storage shed out of wood. Would have been better at keeping me from slipping on the fairly steep roof-line.

These Klein Tools Coated Thermal Gloves are the spot-on choice for work gloves with work specific needs (working with dirt, ice, water, cold temps, pry bars, shovels, etc.) Let me point out, the soft, terry inside is sooo much superior than regular chem gloves or mainstream garden gloves. The terry feel is extraordinary and gives an added layer of comfort where others just give you a glove and that’s about it. If you expect to use these gloves for long periods of time (at a stretch) or in colder climates, these gloves are your superior bet. The outside is covered 2 ways: The palms are coated with a rubberized, sure-grip latex that will give you an outstanding grip on anything you grab, wet or dry. The tops of the gloves are coated all the way up to the wrist with a grey latex shell that repels any water or liquids you may get on the back of your hands so there is no ‘soak-through’. The wrist collars are an extremely comfortable, thick, winter knit cotton with a rubberized, waistband type of fit that prevents snow, ice, water, dirt or just about anything else from creeping into your hands or wrists. Very nice touch. *About the fit: If you are like me and your hands tend towards a glove sized Large, you ought to select a size larger than you are used to when buying. These gloves fit me perfectly and are size XL (10). Just right fit as where Large would have been too small. All-in-all these Klein Tools gloves are a superior product and what you would expect from the great Klein lineup. The terry inside makes it worth getting hands down!
Durable, insulated, water proof up to the wrist! The inside lining starts to separate after a week from taking them on and off frequently but that’s all
