I acquired this for use at work. I have used multiple hard-hats throughout my working years as a field technician and I have not really come across any that is as comfortable as the Klein hard-hat. It is super light weight and comfortable with a better airflow than most other brands that I have used in the past. Setting it up was easy and with the ratchet knob, it is extremely easy to adjust the hat to fit any head size. The design is exquisite, made of easy to clean and high quality material, this hard hat exceed my expectation and I am very happy with it.

This hard hat is easily adjustable and comfortable to wear. The hard hat has lamp mounts on both the front and rear so you can wear the hat in reverse where permitted. The mounts are a definite advantage over trying to strap an aftermarket lamp to a hard hat. The lamp is also magnetic so you can mount it to a surface or tool. The lamp is bright as shown in the pictures illuminating an electrical room in a completely dark basement. Changing the lamp batteries is also easy to do.

Feature rich. Fits most heads (6.5 to 8). Very comfortable and easily adjusted headband. Meets ANSI Z89.1.2014 standard. The flashlight is great, but I wish that you could select to have both the spot and flood lamps lit at the same time. It is great that the light can be moved to the rear if you wish to wear in reverse. The interior suspension seems very sturdy and is surprisingly comfortable, can easily be worn all day if needed. And I note if you work in a very strict workplace the suspension system can be replaced as your workplace requires.

Sturdy, adjustable, padded hat with a really bright light. The hat looks just like it is pictured. The light on it is adjustable in that you can point it further down or back to center. The inside of the hat is padded and has a rear adjustment wheel that you can rotate to make it larger or smaller. It has a great comfortable feel and still feels like it will protect you and give great light. I have no complaints about this hard hat! Excellent quality!

Great hardhat – easy to adjust to achieve a comfortable fit. The written instructions are very helpful, but the photographs lack contrast, everything is just a shade of gray, so the illustrated and referenced parts are difficult to identity.
The hardhat can also be easily changed to wear the hat backwards – I do a lot of close up work and need the light facing down (see photo) the light can be used on the front or the back side. The LED light tilts with 3 detent stops which helps keep the light position fixed. The light output is 150 lumens on the spotlight setting and 50 lumens on the floodlight setting. The light can also be removed from the hard hat and used as a magnetic worklight (has a strong magnetic hold).
I had a problem with the 3 position LED switch – it was extremely hard to push the switch – I thought it was broken, so I opened it up and found that there was too much of a gap between the rubber push pad and the micro switch on the circuit board – the solution was to add a plastic shim from a milk jug (about 0.6mm thick) now it feels “normal”.

This hard hat has so many features, it’s hard to list them all. Right off the bat, the comfort is amazing. This lightweight hat comes with an adjustable and washable inner headband/sweatband that allows it to sit raised slightly off the top of your head yet be tightened down (size adjustment knob) for safety. It has plenty of vented shutters along the sides and a comfortable rear neck pad. Not to mention the incredible light! It comes with an adjustable/pivoting flood (50 lumens) and a spot (150 lumens). As demonstrated in the photos, it clearly lights up a hard to work in dark crawl space. Two other handy features of the light include the fact it is removable. This magnetic light slides up and off easily and attaches to either the back of the hat or can attach to something metal in a confined space. The only suggestion would be to include more washable sweatbands (URL and product # is included on instruction manual for purchase). Honestly, most workers using these may need to change them everyday, if not more often!
