Great strippers!!
Hard to believe that a tool as simple as wire strippers can be a hit or miss item. Wire stripping has neve been my forte. These strippers have actually done the job and made the task almost flawless.

Best Stripper since my bachelor party!
I had a similar version of these in another brand and I did not like how they worked so I went back to using simple strippers. My mother asked me to change all her outlets/light switches out from almond to white, so I got these and really helped make things easier changing well over 50 switches! Only owned for a couple of years, but I can tell it will last a while, it's Klein after all!

Gone are the days of yanking and pulling at the wire jackets!!! This set of strippers has to be one of the most valued tools in my collection to date.
Just pick the gauge of wire, stick it in the stripper, and SNIP, the wire is stripped! Perfect every time!

These wire strippers work great! I can easily strip any gauge from 10 to 22 stranded or solid with one hand. They worked very well on a lighting upgrade job where we replaced several hundred ballasts. The insulation was very hard to strip with standard strippers, it appeared to be bonded to the wire. I had no problem with this stripper whereas the other guys on the crew had sore hands using theirs. So they kept borrowing mine. Needless to say I told them that they need to go to Home Depot and get their own for the next job. These also make working with 18/2 shielded easy. I simply use the 10 gauge to strip the outer jacket without damage to the inner conductors.

I am interested in trying this automatic stripper/cutter tool for tighter spots. And based on some of the reviews about the tool not cutting finer wires or nicking wires, I looked at the blades while selecting one. I noticed that not all blades align fully. Many are slightly off, and this might explain some of the problems those reviewers experienced and hence 3 stars. Who would have known otherwise? I exercised the tools (with difficulty through the blister pack), and selected one that aligned perfectly. Hope it lasts. This particular tool has a wire cutter, which is a plus.
