Kraft facing is not rated as Class B. The term Class B when referring to a product in ASTM C665 means that a product will have a flame propagation resistance or critical radian flux of 0.12 W/cm2 or greater. For an EcoBatt Insulation this would have to be a standard foil facing. Kraft faced EcoBatts are Class C which means they are not rated for flame propagation and cannot be used in exposed applications. Kraft facing is a Type II vapor retarder meaning that it has a perm of 1 or less in case the reference to Class B was mistakenly applied to type of vapor retarder.
