Be Careful On Vinyl Siding
I used this on my vinyl siding to remove some deck stain splatter. While it took the stain off, it left a white residue all over my siding. Tried power washing, using dawn dish soap--nothing worked. It was sunny out so not sure if that made it dry too fast? I used on a small area on the back shady side of my house and it didn't leave any marks.

    It works!!!
I hit a spray paint can placed in the road (maybe by some kids…??) Anyhow it hit my back tire and the paint (black) exploded through the rim and up the side of my car. I didn’t realize until the next morning that it was a spray paint can I ran over. By then of course it was dry. I was advised to try graffiti remover. I decided to grab this one based on reviews. On the rims, panels and tires it basically melted right off. On the painted part of the body I had to saturate more and used a soft cloth putting in a bit more elbow grease…but my baby’s back to normal.

My RV was spray painted by some vandal kids 6 weeks ago. The spray paint was on the gel coat and over several vinyl decals all over the side of the RV. I picked up 2 bottles of Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover and it did the job. It took my wife and me 2+ hours today. First we sprayed Krud Kutter on a 1” area and waited 4-5 minutes. Then wiped it with a new microfiber cloth which got 60% of the spray paint off. Then sprayed it again, let it sit 5 minutes and using a plastic credit card 98% of the paint came off. The remaining paint was removed by using rubbing with cloth. The vinyl decals were NOT DAMAGED and the paint came off the also. I finished it up with a coat of wax and it’s now perfect. It took about a dozen microfiber cloths and some elbow grease but the results were amazing.

The product does a great job of removing paints and stains however, I do not recommend using this product on items that are not easily repaired with paint or stain. I used this product on my vinyl siding, label states that it's safe for vinyl, but when the water dried, I was left with chalky/discolored looking siding that now has to be replaced. It did great removing the deck stain overspray but I would not recommend it for this type of job.

        Response from Rust-OleumSupportSep 6, 2018
That doesn't sound right, Mike. Please keep in mind that Rust-Oleum Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover should not be allowed to dry on the surface as this will leave a residue behind as you described. For soft surfaces such as vinyl, thoroughly spray the area damaged by graffiti and wait 3 to 5 minutes. Then wipe off with a clean cloth or towel. You can do a repeat application if necessary. To remove the residue, we recommend scrubbing the surface with soap and water and then rinse well. - Rust-Oleum Product Support 5 Rustoleum

        unbelievable!!
My wife spray painted on the patio stones out back. The cardboard was way too small and she over sprayed on the porous stones. She said “don’t worry it’ll wash right off.” Obviously, it didn’t. Went to home depot and looked at several alteratives. Chose Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover. Followed the directions on the back, and worked perfectly with little effort. If you know the paint was there, and look real close, you might see a faint outline. Or it might be my mind playing tricks since i knew it was there. I dont think anyone else could see it.
