Amazingly Quiet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow this grinder is a MAJOR improvement over our old cheapo coffee grinder! My husband used to put a potholder over the old one it was so loud and obnoxious. The Krups Silent Vortex is a game changer! Is it totally silent? No, but it’s at least 75% less loud. All you hear is the motor without the cacophony of the beans rattling around. I am not sure how they accomplished that, but I am impressed. The grind is very even – we use ours for a French press and no more annoying coffee dust in our cup. It’s honestly way better than I expected for a blade grinder. It has markings right on the lid telling you how long to grind for which coarseness which I really appreciate. The other fabulous feature to the grinder is the fact that the grinder bowl is removeable along with the blades, so you can wash it thoroughly. It also comes with a lid for storage – say you want to grind your beans in the evening and have them ready for the morning.

Awesome Kitchen Gear!

Fresh coffee is the greatest! The grinder is relatively quiet and it's a nice compact size so it doesn't take up much space at all.

Great Grinder!
I have used other Krups grinders in the past and they have worked great for the money. We had a new Kitchen Aid we purchased and it was just JUNK!, so I went back on the hunt for a new grinder and found the Krups vortex. I bought one and we love it, so I'm purchasing another one as a spare. We take our coffee seriously!! Thanks!

Great Results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this for both grinding coffee beans & dried herbs. This handy small but powerful machine grinds the coffee beans to a fine textured perfection which results in an amazingly flavorful cup of coffee. Getting the fine texture I wanted for the dried herbs was just as easily acheived using the grinding & then pulse settings & got the job done quickly. Cleaning is fairly simple, when necessary I use a small soft brush or just clean & rinse. I've had good results with every use.

Love it!

Fair grinder
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This grinder is just fair I’d say. It’s a little difficult to clean and takes some time to figure out what settings to use. Maybe I’m just not doing something right. It will sometimes get warm to the touch when using for more than 15-20 seconds which is somewhat concerning. It has worked so far for what I’ve needed it for though.

High end quality

Great for coffee and spices
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The silent vortex grinder is multifunctional! Not only is it great for coffee but I use it to grind up refresh spices as well. It really is silent. I can use it without waking anyone up in the mornings and it grinds coffee beans evenly.

Perfect for Gardening Prep
