Yes. I have recently used this mixer with 2000 watt generator without any problem.
I have put about 500 bags through this and it isn’t even remotely worn.
The packaged dimensions are 30" x 28" x 28".
I have bought this Kushlan about two Summers. Buy the cement for sure. Very quality.!! What can I say.? Just do it. You will be happy.
13.8, will hold on a 15 amp circuit by itself.
With all materials (concrete, water) on site and a thickness of 4-5 inches this will take about 16 hours at a good pace without any breaks. If it's hot and no shade it will take a couple hours more. This includes cleanup. This is based upon my experience when pouring 2 16 feet long by 10.5 inch by 11.25 inch squarish blocks for a retaining wall at a time carrying rock, sand and portland cement in buckets from 50 feet away from project in 7 hours. I am 55 and guessing that I am about 20% slower than when I was 25.
Just assembled mine. The gearbox contains minimal oil. The Operating Instructions and Parts Manual shipped with the item states: "The motor is shipped with break-in grease. Before 1st use fill with 8 ounces of 75-90W gear lube. We highly recommend Royal Purple brand." I wouldn't sweat the Royal Purple brand oil. Just buy some 75-90W gear oil - a quart will be plenty. The manual for the prior model recommended Synthetic Mobile 1 LS 75W-90 gear oil. I would expect any 75-90W oil of any brand is quite good enough, and much better than no oil. It is not as if you are dealing with a racing car or extreme operating conditions. I just got Valvoline full synthetic 75-90W gear oil.
you control the final mix by how much water or add mix you add also how long you mix it.it's the operator that controls the mix and final product. we used this mixer for everything from stucco (base, brown and final coats) for a building, footing and side walk slabs, etc. saves us time and manpower. Especially when we cant get a truck to pump large amount of concrete in tight locations. for us this machine paid for itself in one job. there is a limit of how many bags you can mix at once. less then what is recommended on the label. i think i'ts 4 - 80lb bags. we only do up to 3 at a time. we had it for about a year and still working well. just have to make sure you clean it well after each use. otherwise you will have concrete stain on it you cant get off.
Yes, this can be used to mix different consistency's.
