Can the lock automatically lock after door is closed
No, the lock cannot automatically lock when the door is closed because it cannot detect whether the door is open or closed. However, if Auto-Lock is enabled, it will automatically lock after a preset delay regardless of the door's position.
Does this work with my ring camera
The Kwikset Halo smart deadbolt does not have a native integration with the Ring app, so you generally cannot control a Halo lock or manage it directly from Ring.
Can I pair this lock with my phone kwikset app at one address and use this at another address
Yes, you can use a Kwikset Halo Wi‑Fi smart lock across different addresses. The Kwikset app supports multiple locks and multiple locations under one account.
Is this system compatible with and connect to Vivint security and monitoring?
No, the Halo Wi-Fi enabled lock is not compatible with or connectable to Vivint. The Halo lock is designed to work with the Kwikset app only.
