HALO Wi-Fi Smart Lock is a keyless entry electronic deadbolt featuring SmartKey that allows you to control the lock from anywhere there's an internet connection--no smart hub or bridge required. Using the Kwikset App, you can lock/unlock the deadbolt, program up to 250 user access codes and receive notifications of your lock's use. This single cylinder deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad or key from the outside as well as the turn button from the inside. The crisp, clean appearance of the Satin Nickel finish adds to the overall look of the product and brings a modern feel.

    A:  The Halo Wi-Fi lock is compatible with a door thickness of 1 3/8” up to 2 ¼”, backset distance of 2 3/8” – 2 ¾”, backset diameter borehole of 2 1/8” and 1” diameter door edge borehole.       Q:I want to install this lock in a home in St. Maarten in the Caribbean. Will this work outside of the U.S and can I change to codes from the U.S to allow access to the home for renters or handy man/ cleaner?

      A:  The Halo works with the Kwikset app from anywhere yet the account can only be set up with a phone number from the US, Canada and Mexico.         A:  No ... but in order for the lock code system to work properly to load and unload new codes, it needs to be connected. It also tells you when your door is locked and unlocked and how it was done .... code used or key used. And if you have a name assigned to a particular code, the name comes up that locked or unlocked the door.

        A:  Yes, to program the Halo lock you must download the Kwikset app on your smart phone and pair the lock to Wi-Fi.

          It goes through batteries too often. I have to replace...
          It goes through batteries too often. I have to replace the four AA batteries every 3 weeks.
