The Obsidian touchscreen electronic deadbolt is a keyway less, low-profile, 1-touch locking motorized deadbolt. With your personalized code, you can enter your home with the convenience of keyless entry and the LED illumination provides increased visibility. It features patented SecureScreen technology to prevent code detection from fingerprints on the touchscreen. Obsidian is easy to install, program and use, and operates on 4 AA batteries. This deadbolt can be locked or unlocked by using the keypad from the outside as well as the turn button from the inside. Nice set up
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I put this in an existing door lock space. I had to rotate the latch a bit to make the face fit. Wasn’t hard as the instructions were thorough in guiding me. Did have to chisel out the jam where the lock goes in since it wasn’t the size of last one. Really like the feature to have up to 16 user codes. Also a great function to be able to have a master code to use for adding and deleting user codes.
I also like the features of the colored lights to show unlocked, locked and low battery.
Overall nice package! Easy way to have the kids get in without dealing with lost keys!
Thoroughly recommend.

Convenient & modern!

Kwikset Obsidian Keyless Lock Amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kwikset Obsidian keyless lock in satin nickel was so easy to install! The only items not included are four AAA batteries and a Phillips screwdriver. I was able to easily replace the deadbolt on my door with no drilling or additional holes. The directions are VERY easy to follow and within 20 minutes I had the amazing lock installed on my front door. The satin nickel finish complements my regular lock and the deadbolt is of a high quality and gives the inside of my front door a sleek, classy look. The keypad is easily programmable with up to 16 user codes that you choose. You simply place your hand on the outside box and press one of the codes you entered and voila-the door unlocks. The lock has a secure screen to help prevent code detection from fingerprints on the touchscreen making me feel secure and safe. I absolutely love the ease of locking and unlocking my door with the swipe of my hand and no more worries about locking myself out! I will most definitely get this same Kwikset Obsidian touchscreen deadbolt for the other doors in my house. The Kwikset Obsidian is a high quality sleek design lock that not only looks great but makes me feel secure in my home.

Amazing Lock

I cannot tell you how much safer I feel now that we have installed our New KWIKSET Touchscreen Electronic Deadbolt lock. I finally feel safe and you cannot put a price tag on peace of mind. It is designed to look attractive and provides the utmost safety and protection for my family. So many features including Keyless entry,one touch locking, low battery alerts and 9 volt back up power. Fairly easy to install and you only need a screwdriver. The Deadbolt fits all standard doors. Unique, sylish, durable, tamper resistant cover- this is security at its finest.I just cant say how happy and safe I now feel having this Installed.

The lock is great looking, but you need to replace battery almost every two weeks or lock works spastically. This is frustrating and the lock was expensive. It looks beautiful. High maintenance.
We have had it a year. We also have a Schlage lock and battery only needs to be changed once a year. I would recommend that one.

Purchased this lock about a week ago. It's a beautifully designed keyless deadbolt. I had considered going with a lock that is connected to other apps in the home (Ring, Alexa) but decided the headaches with connectivity and integration weren't worth it.
Plus, since I have Ring, I can just give people the code to enter.
This lock was super easy to install and looks great on my door. Pairs nicely with the Montreal handles made by Kwisket.
I've received a lot of compliments on this lock and it's "wife approved".
