        We used it to give the elusion of a large pine tree being lit. It did provide an interesting effect. It might have even been better if the light could have been placed at a greater distance from the tree. It did reach the top which the tree is approximately 30 ft high. I needed more directions on how to use the remote. I really wanted to have only one of the configurations but could figure out how to keep it on just one. There are not instructions. It is much more effective than the small LED lights of i.e. snow flakes.
