      Less than two years old and failing
      For the past several months it's been hit and miss if it will work. When it's a miss it sounds like and electric explosion and looks like a lightning storm inside. Photo is a video still of the lightning inside the microwave. Sadly I don't have my recent to make a claim on the 10 year magnetron warranty. Avoid!

        Nice sleek design. Works great for warming or reheating food. Cooks popcorn and baked potatoes to perfection. Looks great built-in to our existing cabinets, over the oven. Two disappointments are: 1. The stainless is not fingerprint proof, and 2. The interior is a dark gray causing the lighting to be very dark inside the microwave.

        I bought my first LG microwave about two weeks ago and I absolutely love it. Very nice look from the outside and not to mention the inside it’s a beautiful gray with a led light that makes it look top notch! We absolutely love it!

          Great machine!
          I purchased this earlier this year and have come to love it! I especially love the defrost feature, it works better than any I have had before. It never over cooks or dries out a product. Sensor cooking is also great for cooking veggies in the bag. Installation was easy, I did some “southern engineering” to make the tolerances better for a perfect fit.

            Great Microwave For The Money
            Time will tell on quality as I just got this, but it seems pretty solid. Absolutely love the clean look. I bought the trim kit for it too so I could use it as a built-in (ridiculous that the trim kit is more expensive than the microwave itself, by the way). Fairly easy to install if you are somewhat handy. I went ahead and bought an LG oven to match it. I left no gap in between so it looks like two-in-one combo unit and I'm pretty happy with it.

              Microwave quit heating
              I purchased this LG microwave only two years ago and it has already quit working. The lights turn on and the turntable turns, but it will not heat/cook. Research shows the cause to be a faulty Magatron at a replacement cost of $69.99 (Part #: 2M286) The replacement part is 1/2 the purchase price of the microwave (part only). It does not include the cost of service to do the work. I am very dissatisfied with this product. I checked the LG warranty and it expired after only one year.

                Broken door button! Minimal use, Adult only.
                Love the way it cooks, large size, and ease of use. PROBLEM! Door became difficult (like it would stick) after a few months. Now button is dangling, and of course warranty is out of window., otherwise, microwave is like new! Unless you want disposable aplliance, I would NOT purchase this item. Very poor design.

                  My 2nd one, 1st lasted 5 years!
                  Purchased for its stylish looks and reasonable price. Excellent soft touch keypad along with its ease of operation made this medium size oven a favorite. Soft and pleasing chimes signaling the end of the warming cycle was a bonus instead of that annoying long drawn out ear piercing beep! Devastating if you’re on the other end of a phone call using a blue tooth ear piece with the volume up! LED lights on the inside. Solid molded inner cooking area. For a throw away society, it’s a great choice!
