Normal dry time for Loctite Power Grab All-Purpose Construction Adhesive, in most applications, can be achieved in about 12 hours or more depending upon the porosity of the substrates being bonded. At least one bonding surface must be porous. Applications on low porosity surfaces may take 7 days or longer to achieve full strength. Dry time is dependent on temperature, humidity, porosity of substrate, and amount of adhesive applied.

A:  Thank you for the question. Loctite Power Grab All Purpose Construction Adhesive is not well suited for use on most cement backer boards and would not be recommended. This is not to say you cannot try but without knowing the project details and because there are several types of backer boards available on the market it is not possible to predict your results. It is recommended that you test your intended application first to determine suitable and acceptable results before starting the project.
