Mold generator
I've been using this product 3 months usage it works as advertised (but is some what finicky) this humidifier, even after cleaning it the main tube carrying the moisture out builds up a red bacterial growth as well as black mold .
I have never experienced this with any other humidifier that we bought.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product And will see if I can get a refund.

Not good
Had it less than month and it died. Never seemed to read correctly. Example, it would read the humidity in my house at 90. Uh, no. But it did put out moisture until last night and controls won’t function anymore. Certainly not worth the cost for 3 weeks of use.

Warm humidifier that has the name of a soar throat medicine... I am up in the North of Minnesota- cause it's not cold enough in South MN- I bought this when we hit -40 degrees. There are many things that I like about this humidifier from Lasko, though there are also some features that could really stand to be improved or added.
Pros:
+ Large water tank holds a little over a gallon of distilled water (which ends up lasting about 2 nights when set to Continuous Level 1 flow)
+ Large opening to pour water into the tank
+ Very quiet operation
+ Split mist nozzle allows for better coverage of a room
+ Stylish design
+ Easy-to-operate interface and buttons
Cons:
- I don't feel a difference in temperature between the cool and warm mist options
- There's no way to turn off the display on this unit, and I find that even the dimmest setting is still pretty bright. The really should be a "display off" setting.
- There's no way to turn off the beep that happens every time a button is pushed, which makes adjustment/operation overnight impossible without disturbing whoever's sleeping in the room with the humidifier. There really should be an option to disable the beep.
- The buttons aren't backlit, so finding which button to push in the dark is impossible without a flashlight.
- The nightlight isn't very bright and shows out the back of the unit, so wouldn't really be visible even if we wanted the extra light

So far so good with this little humidifier. It's easy to unpack and set-up, just add water and it's ready to go. The screen is bright but can be adjusted with a night light mode. The controls are easy to use and understand. The dual pivoting head on it is a nice feature to spread the humidity around better. The only downside I see is the same I see in most humidifiers and that's having to fill it on the bottom. Other than that works as it should and is also fairly quiet while running.

I wish I bought one of these years ago. I am a transplant from the Midwest to Arizona and have never used a humidifier in the dry Southwest. I have used these back in the cold winters and was pretty familiar with how to set them up so I blew through the manual in a few minutes. I was able to set this up in under 10 minutes and raised the humidity from 34% to 45% in two hours. I placed the Lasko in the central area of the house in the hallway near the thermostat under the air intake for the HVAC system. Some of the features that I really like are the 360 degree mist outlet, warm or cool mist function, 40% to 70% humidity setting range, adjustable display brightness, timer setting and low/medium and high mist output. I think this unit has a solid build quality and I hope it lasts many years.

Pros: Big opening, easy to fill. Easily holds more than a gallon. The product description is WRONG when it says 0.26 of gallon, gotta be a typo, maybe 1.26 gallons! Long lasting, quiet, has a timer which is GREAT. Has 2 swivel direction spouts. Has cleaning brush built in under base and tucked away. See photo. Nice handle to lift for filling. No gurgling or burping as water level is taken into humidifier. You can set the level of humidity you want to have and this unit can "gauge" the room and match what is selected. Easy touch controls that are responsive.
Cons: When you lift to fill, it dribbles, if you flip it over, it dribbles. You have to have a towel in hand to catch dribbles. The humidity level indicator is very bright at night and there is no way to dim it. The light is a bother for sleeping. The controls allow you to shift to a night light glow from behind which is nice, but still no way to dim it. The biggest issue is the controls: they are NOT illuminated. At night if you want to turn off or on or whatever, there is no illumination on the control panel. We have to keep a flashlight next to the unit so we can see the panel at night. The photos I took show how the panel is not visible at night unless you have a flashlight. The "warm" humidifier wasn't warm, couldn't tell any difference in that feature. This product is better than the other humidifiers we have used. We like it.

I like this humidifier because it has a few more features than some of the basic ones. The digital display and the ability to set the humidity level is one and its great for bedrooms because the display can be turned off or dimmed down. In addition, there is a blue nightlight that can be used with the main display on or off. The next thing I like is the reservoir capacity and the handle on it. Its a larger capacity so it requires less refilling, and the square design makes it easy to lay upside down on the counter to fill it up. The handle makes it easy to carry back and forth for fill ups. It also has the warm mist feature which is more comfortable in the winter. It can also be set to run indefinitely or for a set amount of time. Its got all of these great features but its not so big that you couldn't put it on a larger nightstand or chest of drawers. I think it's a very well designed product.

This is a modern looking very stylish extremely quiet cool and warm mist humidifier.
You can use the warm mist in the winter time and the coolmist year-round.
The reservoir has a large easy to use handle that makes carrying it to the kitchen or bathroom for refilling very simple and easy.
It is exceptionally quiet. It has two rotating mist nozzles on the top that you can point in any direction that you’d like.
It has three mist flow options (lo, med, high) and can run up to 100 hours on the low setting. It will automatically turn off when it is out of water.
The LED touch display is very simple to use. You can easily set a timer, missed options, humidistat, and how bright you want the light on the LED to be.
This appears to be a very well-built unit and should last a long time. See the attached photos below for different views of the unit and to see it in action.

The Lasko humidifier has a lot more features than the other humidifier that I have. I got a second one because one was good, but I'll use the old one during the day in my home office and the new Lasko in my bedroom for night. It does not make as much noise and has a larger tank. I have extremely dry skin and my dermatologist suggested that I try a humidifier and it does help.
