Thank you for choosing Latex-ite Acrylic Grade Driveway Sealer for your blacktop. Acrylic Grade is an advanced acrylic formula that will extend the life of your blacktop while beautifying it with a durable and flexible rich black, low matte finish. Acrylic Grade will dry quickly allowing for car traffic in just 4-hours. Its easier to apply and is soap and water clean-up, no odors. Acrylic Grade will restore and refresh your blacktop driveway or parking lot to a protected and beautified surface. 1. Buy an extra pail: Any unused portion can be saved for touch-ups (you do not want to run out during the project as you might get color variations). 2. Do the project all at 1 time without starting and stopping. 3. Check the weather and make sure no rain is forecast and it is at least 50°F at night (a cold driveway will not allow the sealer to cure properly). Note: If product is not available to order in your area that is due to night time temperatures. Product may not cure and/or track in late Fall and early Spring applications.

High performance acrylic formula designed to be applied with a roller - do not use a squeegee or brush as this will result in uneven application and cracking
Coverage will vary based on blacktop condition: average coverage 400 sq. ft. with 2 thin coats
Remember: clean your driveway thoroughly so sealer will bond and make sure you do not seal when it is cold outside, it must be at least 50 degrees F at night for sealer to properly cure and last
Do not seal in early spring or late fall as the sealer will not last - it will not cure properly and may track
Ready for foot traffic in 1-hour and car traffic in 4-hours

A: This product is applied as a thin layer and cannot be used to patch cracks. You may apply this product over a crack that has been sealed with trowel patch, though it will not hide the patch, which no product will do.

But, being thinner, it leaves indents in rougher surface blacktop whereas the next grade down, Latex-ite: "Ultra Shield" fills these crevices nicely and claims 10 year satisfaction.

Great stuff, but you must adhere to instructions. You must apply with a roller and can't apply it over coal tar or oil based sealers. It must be the first sealer used on fresh asphalt. Also, because Acrylic lets the asphalt "breathe", you only have to wait 30 days to seal because the oils in new asphalt can evaporate through it unlike other sealers. Gives a beautiful smooth and even black finish.

This sealer is good for a driveway that car only run through ,but not for the surface that you will make wheel turn that cause friction and will remove the sealer easily. I did one coat in June, looks great, but the surface sealer where is just out of my garage door has been wiped off because I have to move wheels to make turn to drive out my driveway.
