Product Overview

Thank you for choosing Latex-ite Acrylic Grade Driveway Sealer for your blacktop. Acrylic Grade is an advanced acrylic formula that will extend the life of your blacktop while beautifying it with a durable and flexible rich black, low matte finish. Acrylic Grade will dry quickly allowing for car traffic in just 4-hours. Its easier to apply and is soap and water clean-up, no odors. Acrylic Grade will restore and refresh your blacktop driveway or parking lot to a protected and beautified surface. 1. Buy an extra pail: Any unused portion can be saved for touch-ups (you do not want to run out during the project as you might get color variations). 2. Do the project all at 1 time without starting and stopping. 3. Check the weather and make sure no rain is forecast and it is at least 50°F at night (a cold driveway will not allow the sealer to cure properly). Note: If product is not available to order in your area that is due to night time temperatures. Product may not cure and/or track in late Fall and early Spring applications.
  • California residents
  • High performance acrylic formula designed to be applied with a roller - do not use a squeegee or brush as this will result in uneven application and cracking
  • Coverage will vary based on blacktop condition: average coverage 400 sq. ft. with 2 thin coats
  • Remember: clean your driveway thoroughly so sealer will bond and make sure you do not seal when it is cold outside, it must be at least 50 degrees F at night for sealer to properly cure and last
  • Do not seal in early spring or late fall as the sealer will not last - it will not cure properly and may track
  • Ready for foot traffic in 1-hour and car traffic in 4-hours
  • Resists oil, gasoline and chemicals
  • Low VOC/no odor/easy clean up

This worked great driveway looks fantastic. Highly recommend it.easy to apply with paint roller, I used 2 inch nap. Much better than the junk they want to spray on, Cost much less, took me about 4 hours to do my u shaped driveway on small incline. Worth the price and little labor you do.

This stuff dries fast and looks good when dried. It ˆs easy to apply with rollers and works better than the cheaper types which take longer to dry and don't cover as well. It is often hard to find in some stores and must be ordered.

I've used the product for years. However, as opposed to manufacturer recommendation, I use a 1/4 nap roller to spread the product so that the sand doesn't build up on the roller and it actually gets pushed to fill the cracks. I also mix the product with a mixer attached to a drill before I pour the product onto my driveway to ensure product consistency. If i need to add more coats, it's fairly easy. I do this annually.

EASILY PEELS OFF

Driveway is 3 years old. Was sealed one year ago with another name brand acrylic asphalt sealer which did not last. I followed all instructions on Latex-ite application video including pressure washing the driveway and rainfree application temperatures in the 80's daytime and in the 70's nighttime. Waited three days to drive on it. BUT every time I park a vehicle on it, the sealer peels off under the tires. Even with cold tires. I waited a full week, with excellent weather for drying, before continuing to use the driveway, but the sealer continues to peel.

I have applied 4 quantity of this product to seal my driveway over perfect weather condition (70-80 F) without any rain forecast for 5 days. Before the application I have used power tool to stir the content thoroughly. After sealing I have left all vehicle outside the driveway for 48 hours to ensure the product is cured and dry. On the third day I parked one vehicle back and on the next day when I pulled out the vehicle I noticed where the 4 tires were parked the product had peeled off. Next day I parked the car at a different location on the driveway but same thing happens again - the sealer had flaked off under the tires when the car was moved after couple of hours. What kind of garbage product is this? This is the premium synthetic sealer that is much higher priced and supposed to be much better than the HomeDepot regular stock driveway sealer. Totally a waste of money and lots of efforts.
