Latex-ite 55 Gal. Therma Seal Driveway Filler Sealer is a season extending blacktop driveway sealer. Therma Seal was specially formulated for those late season applications when you may have warm days but night time temperatures are below 55°F. Therma Seal is designed to cure properly when applied even when it gets down to 40°F at night.

Driveway sealer
Bought 4 buckets, free delivery to my house. Laid buckets on there side. Didn’t need to stir them, very surprised. Spreads very easy, fills in cracks nicely, used crack filler a few days before using this product to fill larger cracks. My temp when applying was 70’s day, 50’s night. Looks great. Does dry to touch in 4 hours, did not put vehicles on it till 2 days just to be safe. Very satisfied with product, will see how long it last.

Sealer was easy to apply with a squeegee and the finished look is great with consistent color and texture. The coverage was as advertised, 350 to 400 sq ft per 5 gallon pail. I chose this product due to the late fall temperatures on the central coast of California and applied it in daytime temp in the mod 70's and overnight temp in the high 40's (Fahrenheit). I let the sealer cure for 48 hours with similar temps. I am very pleased with this product and will do the rest of my driveway (another 1200 sq ft) with it. It's been 3 weeks since I did my first 3 pails of it and it is still looking great. I refrained from giving 5 stars as I am waiting to see how it holds up to the winter rains, if they ever come.

Didn't work at all. I applied above the suggested minimum temperature (and have personal weather station records to prove it), and less than three weeks later, my whole driveway is peeling. Called and emailed the company, and no response. Wouldn't recommend. I really hope Home Depot and the company can fix this! What a waste of time, effort, and money.

Wanted to seal my driveway before winter but waited a little to long into the fall.Because you can apply this down to 40 degrees I went with this product. It was about 65 when I applied it and went to an over night of about 45. It set up perfectly.,I stayed off it for 2 days.It was easy to stir, pour and spread. Filled the driveway nicely and gave it a beautiful black finish. I bought it online and HD delivered it to driveway, garage door. I bought a double batch to apply a second coat in the spring.The only problem I had was opening the cans.Oh by the way,forgot to tell you I'm a 63 year old woman DIYer.

Applied 2 coats when temperatures were just above minimum. Went on great and looks very nice. The real test will be seeing how it holds up through a northern NY winter. Used a different Latex-ite product last year that came right up. This time we cleaned driveway first with recommended cleaner . Hope it was worth the price.

This product performed very well and because we got a late start I was really concerned about the nighttime temps. Fortunately the temps stayed in the 50's and 60, so the products cured better than expected. It was difficult to get stirred up, but we managed and the coverage was very good.

I followed application method and squeegee they recommended and I was getting 1/2 of the recommendation on coverage. I then hand brushed entire driveway to get proper coverage. The squeegee did not get the product out of the dimples in my driveway and was going on very thick.

Looks good so far - I just applied this several days ago. It spread very easily and dried to touch within hours. We will not drive on it for three days just to be safe. It was a bit expensive, but we needed Thermaseal to be applied in cooler weather. I had turned the containers over two days in advance to help with mixing. When I opened the containers I was surprised at how little stirring was needed. I am pretty happy with the product so far, but time will tell about how durable it is. It was great to be able to apply in lower temperatures than the standard grade latexite.

Great option for early Spring Sealing
This was the only product that I could find on the market that could be applied in lower temperatures, making it a great option in early Spring. It went on great and was easy to use on semi-rough driveway. We did use a push broom to apply it, which worked great as the driveway had a little too much texture for a squeegee.
It took just under 7 buckets to do two coats over 800 SF.

55 gallon drum latex-ite therma seal
Im writing this 7 months after i applied the product. I met the delivery driver and we unloaded the product onto my trailer from his 18 wheeler. Very nice guy! The sealer filled the very minor pitting in my driveway. The major pitting took a few coats to fill. I started off using a squeegee but ended up using a wide brush to apply. It seems to be holding up well. I applied when temps were in the 90's. I will purchase this product again as long as they have the 55 gallon. 5 stars!

Very late to seal driveway at beginning of November and chose thermaseal advertised as to cure even if night temps are down to 40 deg F. Put down two buckets, but didn't order enough so scrambled and purchased the 10year non-termaseal Latex-ite product to complete sealing the driveway. Cold and rain followed and the 10-year product did not work, much washed away. The result was a mess, with a sand-like mixture left behind but only where the 10-year was placed. The thermaseal portion looks great!
No idea of its longevity, but can attest it did cure in cold temps of early November. Just purchased enough (can always return the unused) and yes, next time I'll take my own advice.
