My old oven mitts could not take the heat and melted. It really can be challenging to cook with oven mitts with holes in them or find well made ones these days, like some how people lost the science of how to make them. My mom picked me up a pair of these and they are great. hot liquid spilling wont burn your hands and the silicone does not melt and stick to hot pans.
