Q:Is this dimmer also a light switch? How many lights does it control? What if I need to control more than one set of lights?

A:  All dimmers are also light switches. The dimmer can control as many lights as needed, provided that the total wattage of the light bulbs are under the dimmer specifications.     A:  This dimmer uses MOFSET technology and is compatible with most dimmable bulbs (with the exception of 0-10V fixtures). 0-10V fixtures need a different type of dimmer because unlike most dimmers which dim the bulb, 0-10V dimmers actually dim the entire light fixture. In this case, it sounds like you will need the 0-10V dimmer.
