Peace of mind, all the time. The SmartlockPro Self-Test GFCI tests itself even if you forget. Designed to meet the latest UL standard for auto-monitoring (self-test) our complete line of self-test GFCIs periodically conduct an automatic internal test to confirm that it can respond to a ground fault. With the slimmest profile on the market, the device allows for fast and easy installation, while Leviton's patented reset lockout mechanism prevents reset of the GFCI if it is not wired or operating correctly. The SmartlockPro Self-Test GFCI is the smart choice in ground fault circuit interrupter protection.
  • Provides continuous ground fault protection - detects and trips on actual ground fault even when self-test is being conducted
  • On initial power up, tests the GFCI within 3 seconds
  • Auto-monitoring exceeds the UL requirement
  • Compatible with all decora devices and wall plates; available in select decora colors
  • Status indicator light provides simple, intuitive feedback on power and protection status as well as indication of line/load reversal

Questions & Answers

Can I use this particular outlet outdoor?

Can I use this particular outlet outdoor?
Asked by: Joe
This product is designed and intended for use indoors. Swapping out failed indoor rated devices is one of my bread and butter jobs as a professional electrician. Indoor rated devices seem to last about 2 years before corroding up. Humidity and any moisture/ dirt on the plug blades is all it takes and covers do not protect from that. Yes, there are receptacles designed for use outdoors, they are termed "Weather Resistant" with packaging, as well as devices themselves marked "WR". They are constructed with a less corrosive grade of metal, just as outdoor rated floodlights and edison sockets.

What's the difference between this and R02-GFNT1-0KW, other than the button colors? And a version of GFNT1 I found on another major retailer site included wall plate. Do any of HD's include one or must it be bought separately? Thanks.
Asked by: PB1003
As a general rule, the only difference is color of the buttons only. The function is the same.

My microwave sometimes tripping the main electric breaker when I start the microwave , I pushed the reset bottom on my existing Receptacle to test it, and it's good, what is wrong, do i need to replace the Receptacle or the microwave?
Asked by: MK
Not enough information to give you an answer. Is it an over the range or countertop microwave. Also is it on it's own circuit or continous.
