The Leviton Decora 15 Amp 3-Way Rocker Switch has a comfortable, rocker style with a gray finish designed to coordinate with many decors. The switch is intended to replace a 3-way switch allowing you to control lights from 2 locations. This unit is UL listed and has a 120/277 VAC.

A: The switch should work with any lighting load type. I'm unaware of any alternative switches that don't have a Prop 65 warning at the moment.

The switch becomes unhinged after a few years

I installed 6 of these 3-way switches in my home three years ago and had to replace 2 this year because the switch became unhinged. I called Leviton and Leviton would not stand good for them. In fact, Leviton was very rude to me and blamed the problem on cleaning procedures. Therefore, I returned them to Home Depot. Stay away from Leviton switches until they correct the manufacturing defect.
