are these soft close?
Asked by: Cindy
There is a soft close and a standard. The soft close has that statement in the description and costs about $4 more than the standard.

This sounds really stupid and basic, but when I took all the wrapping off the sliders and read the instructions, I found I cannot get the sliders to slide. They won't move a millimeter. What the heck am I missing, here? I expected them just to roll to their entire length so I could separate the cabinet side from the drawer side, but no. Not moving. There's no help in the instructions and I've looked up the company's videos and it's just not addressed. I thought maybe I needed to remove the plastic bumper on the end, but I see from this photo that it's meant to stay in place. ???

aside from the small clips they put on these to keep them from sliding in shipping you could check for bends in the metal or detritus on the slides that may be obstructing the movement. Nothing personal, but check to make sure your pulling in the right direction. Nothing worse than publicly pushing on a pull door.

Seem to be tight but measurements are correct, drawer is 1" less than opening. Would WD40 or something else help?

Asked by: Hopper21
Several people have suggested the drawer may be too large. The same problem can be caused by the drawer being too narrow for the opening. Try cutting a piece of wood that is at least 6" wide and EXACTLY the length of the opening's width and sliding it back and forth in the opening. That will show whether the drawer box is too large or small or out of square.

how do you remove the drawers once these are installed?

Asked by: DJ_Banks
There's a plastic lever on each slide that needs to be rotated up/down, then you just pull the slide out.
