Is this acrylic or lucite acrylic. Won't plain acrylic yellow after time?
This cabinet pull is made of acrylic. Like most plastics, acrylic can discolor over time with exposure to UV light and other environmental factors. However, many manufacturers add UV stabilizers to their acrylic to help prevent yellowing. Whether or not this particular acrylic will yellow over time is not specified in the product information.
The picture shows that the acrylic is round and so is the polished nickel. However, when I went to the store, it was shaped in an octagon is it round or does the acrylic and the brushed nickel have edges to them?
